Not as reliable as you think. They deactivated my account and won't even cooperate with me or bother to help when I ask for it. Don't waste your time with them!

Opened up a new account here about a month ago. I was never explained when opening up my account that i would be charged a fee if i used my atm card at a non peoples united bank atm. Due to there being very little peoples united banks / atm in my area i frequently use my card at non peoples bank atm eating up the 3-5$ fee they charge from that atm ( never knowing peoples united bank was also charging me an additional 5$ per transaction. ) they even charge you if you just check your balance at a atm!!!! After just checking my statments when i noticed a chunk of money missing from my account i noticed an accumulated amount of money in fees over the past month from everytime i used my card. I am disgusted that i was never explained this when opening my account and also that when i contacted customer support the lady replied with that i did sign a discluser. I will be closing my account and sharing my experience with others.

Reidville drive branch has the worst customer service hands down. Tellers need to be retrained. Visited 3 times and each time they could not manage to do a cash advance. I had to go to another branch to get it done. Last visit the teller refused to help me and her manager was standing right there.
