I have had the pleasure of working with Kathy at the Verizon Wireless location on Wolcott St. for several years, and I can confidently say she is the best in the business. I called Wireless Zone and spoke to Kathy about helping me with changing my service from the big “A” company. That company’s service was non existent in my house and spotty elsewhere. We literally couldn’t make a call inside our house. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me to make sure Verizon worked at my home before I switched. I’m very happy that I went to her for help. She went above and beyond helping me figure it all out. Great people and great service. For all your Verizon needs in the Waterbury area go to Wireless zone and see Kathy. Thank you for the help.

UPDATE: OMG Kathy's response says it all. I did believe her! I literally said to her, oh I didn't know, ok, thank you. She felt the need to keep repeating herself in a not so friendly tone so please stop and take accountability for your actions! Ridiculous!
I recently switched from ATT to Verizon. I completed this online and asked if I could drop my trade-ins at a Verizon store and was told yes. I went to this location because it was close to home. I walk in and see three employees eating dinner at a desk/table. Not very good first impression, Anyway, the young gentlemen asked me how he can help me and told him I was there to give my trade-ins. He said OK, and then all of a sudden this much older woman asked me if I purchased the phones there. I said no, online. She says in a not so nice tone, well we can't take your phones, you need to go to a Verizon Corporate location like the mall. I politely said oh ok I did not know that. Thank you. I proceed to walk towards the door, and she decides to repeat herself as if I didn't hear her the first time. So unnecessary! When I upgrade my 4 lines, I will not consider this store. I will go to the mall!

After an issue arose with my Verizon account due to errors made by the phone-based customer service team—resulting in a significant balance discrepancy—Kathy went above and beyond to resolve the situation. She conducted a thorough investigation, identified the errors made, and took the initiative to fix a problem she had no part in creating.

Kathy was very resourceful, helping transfer data from our old phone, that was overheating, to our new purchase. She didn’t give up and thought out of the box- placing the phone on an ice pack and paper towel so the transfer could complete! Always know that we will get above and beyond service with any of our cell phone needs at this store!
