“I am giving five stars because there are several new rent a space locations and they have brand new units and they have internal climate control units. I rented an indoor storage unit in East Lyme and I would say that it is excellent for what it is. It is not a climate control environment, so there are temperature and humidity changes that your storage items are subject to. In terms of the facility itself it's very clean and well lit, it has excellent access and parking availability, and feels very secure. The staff are excellent at this location, very helpful and knowledgeable. I do not believe you could beat the price, I came in during the Memorial Day holiday and did not realize they were having a great sale. If you do need storage that is not climate control in the Niantic East Lyme area I recommend them 100%. If you need climate control I also recommend them you will just need to go to Crossroads or Route 85 or Route 82 in Waterford, they have locations in all of those settings.”

“I don't like the rate increase from when CubeSmart took over from Old Lyme Storage. I don't believe they offer the discount for paying for the full year. They are sprucing the place up a bit.”
“Denisha, Nicki and Candace (hope I got the names right) were welcoming and gave us an efficient introduction to our first time renting. The place looks sparkling clean and secure.
I should note that Google Maps totally failed to get us there. You might do better searching for the nearby Springfield Suites.”
“My experience at eye Storage was very nice. The employees were fantastic always friendly always willing to help. I know prices on these places are not cheap anymore but you pay peanuts to get monkeys so give them a try. I highly recommend them. Have a great day.”

“Darrell was really great he helped me out after a bad time at the place I was supposed to pick up the trailer at. I originally rented from the U-haul in Groton. But we received a text to pick it up at a U-Haul neighborhood dealer at 375 RT 12 Groton CT 06340. Well the owner David was a very arrogant man. Before I said a word he told me to move my car into a space. It wasn’t in the way it was parked like two other MEN parked but because I’m a woman, I had to move!!! The when I went back in he asked me for my license and credit card. I said to him not until you tell me the price. He then said $1,200.00 plus. I said that wasn’t correct. He said are you xxxx xxxxxxxxxx?
I said yes. He said then that is how much you owe. I said no and went back to the U-Haul business where I made the reservation and Darrell said David knows better than that and that the price was $577.00 total for rental insurance and tax. Darrell was excellent and David is a scammer!!!”

I needed a storage unit immediately and she was more than happy to offer me one, set up my account, and even showed me the unit before it all! She answered all my questions and did not rush me at all. I had forgot my wallet at home and she was so patient to let me go home and get it. Thank you, Anita!
