This Dollar General is a busy store that customers describe as understaffed, often with only two employees working. Reviews note the stock can be slim pickings. The staff receives mixed feedback. One employee was praised as a doll with an eager to please personality, a positive attitude, and clearly doing his best, even when needing more training. Another interaction was described as unprofessional, where a customer felt uncomfortable and accused of lying during an attempted exchange. However, management also receives significant praise for being awesome and excellent. Specific managers are noted for being exceptionally helpful, proactively offering assistance to a deaf customer and expertly accommodating a hearing disability. They are commended for taking care of issues, such as resolving a problem with a coupon. A consistent point of frustration for customers is the store's restroom policy. The women's bathroom is available for staff, but the public is told they cannot use it and are directed to another business in the parking lot. This policy ticks off customers, especially those with medical conditions requiring immediate access, who note other Dollar General locations allow restroom use.

Management was excellent taking care of an issue my husband had with his coupon not applied. Also accommodated him with his hearing disability and lowered their mask so he could read her lips. This was at the Oakville store on 12/31/22.
