The Watertown Library Association is a nonprofit organization which has served the reading and research needs of the community since 1865 when it was incorporated by a special act of the state legislature.

    The gentleman working the front is very sweet, funny, and very helpful! The atmosphere is quiet and calm, easy to navigate and clean. I also appreciate the hours of operation, makes it easy to stop in after work. Overall I highly recommend to stop by! :)

    Staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually reserve my books online and when we go to pick up, they recognize us by face. Always feel welcomed.

    Such a lovely place to check out books and work quietly. Staff are amazing and friendly and the atmosphere is delightfully peaceful.
