This pharmacy has become a very disappointed place to go for your medication. Staff very rude. Today I had a very bad experience.. a staff with no costumer skills spoke to me very rudely and laughed at me with another costumer. I’m transferring all my medications to another pharmacy and will never step foot in this pharmacy.

I cannot say enough about the staff at this pharmacy. We had to take our 2 year old to the pediatric urgent care nearby (an almost 30 minute drive from home) and because it was so late at night, we couldn’t use our normal CVS pharmacy to fill her much needed medication as they were closed. We decided to use this location as they have a 24 hour pharmacy. The staff, despite being overrun with pharmacy clients and very obviously understaffed- remained calm, professional and most of all kind. A rare find these days. Matt, the pharmacist and Ashaquana the tech, were absolutely wonderful and went so far above and beyond to make sure my child got the medication she needed and as fast as she possibly could. I truly cannot thank them enough. It is folks like this, who deserve all the credit and probably do not ever get it. I am truly tempted to drive the almost 30 minutes completely out of my way to use this pharmacy as my primary- THAT is how exceptional their service was! Keep up the amazing work!

Absolutely horrible! Hire more staff!!! It’s pathetic how long you have to wait for a prescription here.

After having the doctor send a prescription for eye drops twice, the pharmacy still hadn’t processed the order for over 7 hours. When I asked to have it expedited, it took an additional 40 minutes of waiting in person to get a simple bottle of eye drops. Save yourself time and go to any other pharmacy.

In regard to the Pharmacy, there is NO sense of urgency by the Manager or Associates. Will walk around behind the counter and act like they don't see the extensive line forming. THEN, there is only one person who comes out to help. In addition, I wanted to see if my prescription could be delivered. However, if you want to call to get a question answered by the Pharmacy, you never get a live person and must leave a message, which they say will be returned in an hour (but then you don't receive return calls). So, I ended up having to go in to pick up my prescription while sick as can be with Bronchitis...SMH. Does anyone from CVS look at all of these poor reviews?!

I called in prescriptions for a patient, first the pharmacy failed to notify me that they lost the second half of the prescription due to a system error, then they notified my patient the entire prescription was ready for pick up when it wasn’t. When my patient arrived to pick it up, they obviously didn’t have the full script and they called me complaining because the pharmacy made them wait then closed on them for lunch in the middle of an encounter without dispensing the complete script. When I spoke with the pharmacy to clarify why I wasn’t notified of the error, they laughed and said it’s a rare error and they will work to fix it immediately. Highly unprofessional staff, could not care less about the patient. Would advise picking a different pharmacy. As a side note, they leave physicians on hold for prolonged periods and the “call drops” while waiting. Do better!

Many thanks go to the evening pharmacist Matt who helped us manage getting an urgent prescription for our dog. He called our vet after hours and was able to fill the Rx quickly. Above and beyond!

I have a problem with waiting in line so they go as fast as they can but I have a problem with the customers today I was behind someone sick and someone in front of someone sick who was coughing; which is why I always wear my mask in there the setup is very bad. Has to be one of the worst pharmacy run cvs's this is located in West hartford & inam surprised how long the lines are to wait on your prescriptions.
I can see multiple workers in the pharmacy but there's never enough people on the registers absolutely ridiculous!

Biggest problem with this location is the lack of people in the pharmacy no matter what time you go there it’s always a long line with only one person sometimes two people able to help you if you’re lucky… they need to do better I showed up at 7:30 didn’t leave until 8:00 just to pick up a prescription there’s times where I’ll leave and come back another day just because of how long the lines are at times.

Will need more improvement communicating with Dr inpatient... And looking at the previous review for the last 2 years., has not change at all.
Will need to move the system back to how it was before.
1052 p.m. September 18, 2024 🚫 line and still have to wait and wait and wait For a prescription which it was supposed to be ready since 1:00 pm today.

This CVS pharmacy is so poorly managed. They are always chronically understaffed. Even though this is the closest option to my house, I stopped coming here, because I can’t wait in line for 20-30min every time I need to get a script. Not to mention a lot of the time they couldn’t fill the script in a timely manner anyway. And it was impossible to reach people via phone to figure out what the issues were.
But I am now writing this review because today I remembered I needed to get a COVID booster/flu shot. This place had an opening for 6pm, which worked great for me. I figured if they have an open appointment then it won’t really be the same experience as waiting for a script. Wrong.
I got here 10min early as requested. And there’s literally only two people covering the entire pharmacy.i got to the counter to check in, 5min before my appt time, so not too bad. But, then had to wait almost 30min just for a quick vaccine - which I had an appt for.
I am finally leaving now - 50min after I arrived. Should have just made an appt for tomorrow at a different location. Never going to give this place a chance again unless they drastically change their management style. The workers are kind and doing the best they can, but are treated so poorly - to be constantly understaffed like this is crazy. And I know most places are understaffed, but other local CVSes don’t have these same issues. So, I assume it’s a management issue - do better please.
