“Love the prices here, love that the Aldi brand items don’t have harmful additives. AND the section where they have the limited finds is definitely fun to look through.”
“Aldi's is always clean and easy to shop. I love finding seasonal treasures especially around Christmas. There's lots of variety and they have the best prices for any grocery store in the area. It may be a pain to have a quarter for the shopping carts but I often find one in the parking lot or somebody offers it to me. Then I pay it forward. One time I didn't have a quarter and the cashier let me use one from inside.”

“Aldi's has a brand, LiveGFree, which is gluten free products. They are outstanding! The bread is fabulous! Pasta is great! LiveGfree chicken nuggets are fabulous! Prices are wonderful! Their other products are great when available. They used to have LiveGfree wraps (which were outstanding!) but they no longer stock them. One time I bought LiveGfree cheese ravioli but they haven't had it in stock since. Same thing for the LiveGfree donuts. My one request (hope) is that they stock MORE of these products on a regular basis! Many people are gluten free for medical reasons too. Can't beat their prices!
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Aldi PLEASE stock more LiveGfree products.”
“Plenty of parking made arrival easy. No self‑checkout here like I’m used to in St. Pete, but even with long lines the checkout moved quickly and was a breeze. The store felt clean, comfortable, and well‑stocked. Overall a smooth shopping trip.”
“It was my first time there and I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was kind and did their best to help diverse customers. They have a wide variety and unique selection of goods. It was a cute, decorative, organized place. Killam & Bassette also gives opportunities to college students to aid their learning, which I saw firsthand. I wish I knew about it sooner because it was a great place to go, even just to look around. I would recommend it to anyone in Connecticut :)”
“Shop here all the time. Beginning of December. Celery was .95 a bundle. Not in January is 1.95. Wow price gouge. I live on veggies. Now can’t have celery. My budget is 160 a month for groceries. That is all I have in my budget for good food !!! You’re going to add.90!cents to my celery !!!!
I buy chicken where is it .99 a pound. To father celery and onion etc from Aldi for wraps. But I don’t usually buy meat here because of price and quality Veggies used to be affordable. But when Thunder certain items are selling they adjust the price. Bs. Keep it low you will get the customers to repeat sales
I find the. Bathrooms are clean. Store is clean and bright and supplies are ready available. Fun isles are fun and in season. And mostly cheaper than other places But watch the prices. They see what sells and then raise the prices when you least expect it”
“Stopped in on a whim and really glad I did! The man working was so friendly and helpful. I didn't even notice it but he saw that the quality of the sauerkraut I picked out wasn't the best and went right into the cooler and got me a brand new bag. The prices for everything seemed really fair and I was able to pick up some veg that you don't normally see outside if a Wholefoods.”
“Best CSA ever!!! You aren’t given things you don’t want, you get to choose what you LOVE! Or anything you’d like to try. And they are the nicest people in the world! So grateful i found them a few years ago - I’ll be a customer forever!”
“Their fruit could be better...alot of times when im looking for bananas or strawberries the bananas are really bruised and a few times the strawberries are next to impossible to find not moldy ones...on the bright side its not typically overly packed. They always are organized and 9/10 havr everything im looking for. The staff is amazing and super kind and helpful as well. Tuesdays are my favorite days to go to this specific aldi”
“Great little farmstand with friendly staff. My family has been shopping here for ages and I can't think of a single negative experience. Love the baked goods and the wide variety of goods to browse through.”
“I have gone to this stand for many years..This family has dedicated their lives to sharing high quality home grown plants and vegetables to us. We have seen them through all of life's crises...They are to be respected for their continued Customer Service through thick and thin. They are appreciated beyond words to continue on for us despite life's challenges. They are to be only commended. We are truly grateful to be able to shop there.”
“Tragedy - expensive, my sick daughter bought me two soups - Ukrainian borscht and krupbik in the borscht, only vinegar in the kruonik, chemical maggi, it just made my head spin, pagan, who taught these women how to cook, it's not the kitchen, it's poison”
“Always stop to get grinder at Veggie World before our trip to Foxwoods , the grinders are always filled with meat , usually can only eat half the grinder not to much bread just right . The staff there are always friendly . Whenever I go I'm happy , very reasonable the market has plenty of other goodies also . My favorite grinder shop in Connecticut .”
“This location by far is the best to me. I've visited other locations and nothing like this one, they are well stocked. The cashiers have always been nice.
Just an FYI from my experience shopping at any Aldis, please folks put your groceries on the belt so the lines move faster and if paying with a credit card or debit card swipe it so by the time the cashier is done they just hand you the receipt. Cash well that's understandable. And if you didn't get at shopping cart don't expect a cart by the register ?”
