“London Shop is a nice, old school, neighborhood "packy". Not an overwhelming selection like those other big box warehouses that just seem to lack that personal touch. Here, all of the basics with enough options of each wine (by region), sprits, coolers with your standard brewed beverages, and a well selected local craft ales. Staff take a "not on your face approach" and let you browse, of course, if you have a question, they are nearby to assist. Now for my secret, right next door is our favorite paint store, so I always volunteer to go get another gallon of paint and a 4 pack!”
“They have a descent selection of craft beers and wine. They also have a selection of very inexpensive wines that taste pretty good. They're also good to use in cooking and are cheaper than cooking wine.”
“Wow am I impressed. Moved to W. Hartford in the fall and met Connor (owner) at a function. Told him about the backyard I was creating and that 2 taps from a kegerator was in my future come spring. I asked for help with set up and he gave me his number and said to call when it was time. 6 months later I called and he personally came out (in the RAIN no less) to set it up for me! Buy your alcoholic beverages from Maximum Beverage and know that if you need a company that is passionate about what they do and helping their customers-this is the one.”

“This really is a five-star place and I would give it five stars if every time I went in there we didn't end up purchasing 20 something dollars of wine. It's just too good to place with well-stocked wine shelves to make you spend your money. Don't get me wrong you get what you pay for but you're better off not ever knowing that there's such good stuff that cost so much.”
