If I could put zero stars I would. Went to pick up a car today from them and the gentleman who was helping me was average he could of been better but he wasn't the problem it was the manager. He was beyond rude, muttering under his breath, using profanity, and just completely unprofessional. He did not help the situation but just made it worse and kept rolling his eyes. Will not be coming back to Hertz after this situation, and truly hope they get different management. I also clearly wasn't the only one. It was a room full of displeased customers in a rundown facility. I really recommend going anywhere else for your rental needs. Anything has to be better than this place.

Impressive customer experience, especially for such a small location - folks here are super nice, and really efficient. Appreciate the help!!! HUGE shout out to Winston for going the extra mile (lol) when I was in a stressful situation!

First car I got was dirty inside and out and smelled like a Cheech and Chong movie. The sticker on the window said it was 16000 miles overdue for an oil change. When I returned it for a different car, I was told they don't put stickers in them. Huh. So someone randomly stuck an oil change sticker with the same license plate in it. I got a new car, and was told it had had an oil change 800 miles ago. Except the oil change needed light came on every time I started it. And the back of it (Toyota 4Runner) was full of broken milk crates, empty boxes, an old blanket and wood chips everywhere. And I think it was last washed in 2021. Clearly they don't maintain their cars at all, and then flat out lied to cover it. I am a hertz gold member and have never experienced this poor service anywhere except this location.

Hertz has to be the absolute worst car rental company!!I am forced to use this company for rentals and everyone that I speak to has had severe issues with the staff at all locations. In my case, I have an email with a reservation number they cannot find in their system. How is this possible? When you call in to get help, it takes 20 minutes of navigating a automatic system before you can get a human. Then when you finally reach a human, they are not helpful at all.

Very pleased with the service I received at this Hertz location. The gentleman I'm charge was very helpful and attentive to my needs. The first car I received had a few issues, but he quickly got me into something better and was happy to help. Would highly recommended the Hertz location at "1005 New Britain Ave" in West Hartford, CT!

I know that we have been hit hard times with COVID - but the branch associate at this location didn't stop when I needed a car, he ensured that I was given a vehicle which was safe and enabled to move freely during my travels.He went above and beyond his duties to find me a vehicle in a different city, and also called ahead to verify that it was indeed in the lot. I commend him for his actions, it helped during a stressful time - due to the fact that all of his cars were still out at the time

Hertz just tried to charge me $836 for one day for a compact car. I flew out for a funeral and needed a car for one day. I can't believe the amount.
