they flatbed tow truck driver literally sped through stop sign on Blohm 9:18a not even haven flashers on...while im walking my dog on a no sidewalk st. and garden beds being pushed out to the road. Pedestrians are forced to walk on the street.

I had a great experience with this shop—Emmett was transparent, quick, and very fairly priced. He walked me through everything that needed to be done and didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. You can tell he’s genuinely honest and takes pride in his work. On top of that, he even included a free oil change and topped off all the fluids in my car as part of the repair. Highly recommend!

Every freaking time I am amazed at the honesty within this business. A few years back I went in to do a brake job but they told me not to spend the money because on our Jeep the rear axle was too rotted to drive safely. Then I brought my Passat in because it was shutting off. A few minor things and it was like new! Now I brought my van in because a big box shop told me I needed to get a new manifold for $900 after someone stole my catalytic converter. I went straight to Emmit’s and they changed the gasket for no where near what the others said and it runs like new. Don’t waste your time calling around, you can trust these guys!

I always go to Emmett's auto service. And West Haven Connecticut on Campbell avenue. Richard the mechanic is wonderful at his job. Emmett has a funny sense of humor and is a pleasure to deal with. I will constantly take my car whenever need it only to Emmett's auto service.

I personally dislike mechanics and don’t trust anyone to work on my car. That being said, this place would be an exception for me. I broke down on the highway because my cylinder 4 was misfiring (I’d thought I fixed the issue a month prior). Got it towed here and turns out the part I put in was faulty. They fixed it and had me back on the road the next day. Pretty decent guys there, that are cheap and fast. Would recommend to my family.

I am disabled, cancer and a neurological disorder, I got a flat tire and when roadside assistance came my spear was flat also needed a new valve stem. Went to 2 other garages in west Haven they couldn't be bothered, went to Emmett's and was taken care of right away, and not expensive either. Rich was awesome and really went beyond to help me. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I'll keep it simple there were 4 items I needed fixed. He fixed 2 out of the 4. He replaced my back up camera charged me $454.00 the actual cost of the part is _61.00 .Enough said. I'm going to the BBB and file a complay. I want my money back.
