I usually don’t write negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience so that no one else feels the way I did today.
I stopped by this morning because my tire pressure had dropped very low on my way to bring my son to school and head to an important meeting. I’ve come here before, and the staff have always been kind and helpful — which is why I trusted them again today.
However, the man who helped me this morning treated me with complete disrespect. When other customers arrived for gas, he got frustrated and told me he was “too busy” and that I should come back later, even though I explained I didn’t feel safe driving on low tire pressure. I waited patiently, but when he finally helped, he did so with an attitude. As I was leaving, he told me, “You can say thank you,” and when I calmly said, “You don’t treat customers that way,” he replied, “You’re not a customer.”
That comment really hurt. I’ve supported this business before and always appreciated their service, but no one deserves to be spoken to that way — especially when they’re asking for help in a moment of need.
I hope the management sees this and reminds their staff that kindness and professionalism matter just as much as the services offered. A simple act of compassion can make a big difference, especially for parents trying to keep their children safe.

My car is old and full of issues, so I've left it with Fred a few times. He's polite, honest and has a friendly demeanor. His staff are the same! Thanks Fred :)

Staff here is honest and friendly. Came in for an oil change and concerned about a possible leak. They changed my oil and said no leak. No scams, no slick talk, just good honest mechanics

Called too get a quote on a potential condenser issue with my air in my car, told me he was booked till next week and I responded ok I will try too reach out too a few other places too get this done and if I have no luck I’ll definitely call back too schedule the repair and before I could finish my sentence completely hangs up in my face, great way too keep a door open for potential customers… if it was a mistake I’d be more then glad too remove this review but yea wonderful experience when desperately looking for repairs

Pump gas at this location Shell gas station needed a jump. The clerk young man in the Shell gas station did not even help me, but yet he sold me Jumper cables 12.99,24.99 .I went across Street to Fred's to a local shop in the area not far from one of my homes.I asked a young man to Assist Immediately with the battery charging. He was very responsive and quiet & assisted! Please support this gas station.They have morals here.I was born in an Era where people help each other! Support this location. Regular gas is 2.99 per gallon premium, which is use is 3.89. Nice!

This was the second time I needed service. Once on my Mazda and once on my Honda. Both were done timely and neatly. I highly recommend using Fred's Auto Center for your gas and maintenance needs.
