I called Grand Brass to order grommets for a 1/2 inch hole that I drilled in wine and liquor bottles to make bottle lights. I previously bought from them in 2019 but didn't have the old billing statement so I wasn't sure what to order. The receptionist would not let me talk to anyone and said that their tech support could only be reached by email. I sent an email with a full explanation of what I needed. I received a response from Joseph T with a link to the part I needed. With full faith and confidence and assuming he knew what he was doing,I ordered the part. When it came I could see that it was very small and was not the correct part. The grommet they sent actually fell through the .5 inch hole. When I called them back they insisted it was the right part even though it was too small. They said that they had a new computer system and didn't have a record of my old invoices. Since I had done business with them before without any trouble, I was able to find an old invoice with the correct part number, and when I gave it to them, they didn't have a response. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that he didn't speak to customers and that Joseph T (the tech) would decide to waive the restocking fee or not. Joseph T decided to send me the blurb on their website stating that they are not responsible for any bad advice or sending the wrong part and that I had to do my own research before ordering a part. When I'm calling a lamp part company in business since 1913, I would assume I'm getting stellar advice. How much more due diligence do I have to do?? I returned the wrong part, had to pay the return shipping and they charged me a 20% restocking fee. I am lodging a complaint with the BBB against this company. I shouldn't have to pay to return it or 20% to restock it. The mistake was theirs. I would never order from this company again.

My husband and I work on a lot of lanterns/lamps/chandeliers and often times we are in need of materials for those things. We have to order online, bc where we live you can pay an arm and a leg for those materials. We needed some materials fast. And had ordered on Friday at 2am, we expected it to ship out Monday. However, thank you to Grand Brass, it was shipped out Friday. Order arrived Monday at my place before 12pm. We completed 3 projects already and today is Wed. Website easy to use, prices are very reasonable. Shipping is fast!!! We order few times a month, so I would definitely recommend this company! My go to. Thank you again!!!!

Great service and support. They had the selection I needed to fix an old lamp. I sent pictures and they gave me great advise on getting what I needed to get a new shade and fittings for it. I thought that their pricing was fair too. Quality products also. Very well made.

Exceptional service and selection. My purchase was a .com order from their expensive catalog. My order wasn’t even for a lamp, it was for my charcoal grills! I modify grills and add temperature ports, using all thread, brass nuts, and solid brass caps. These can be found at Grand Brass Lamp Parts. The site is easy to navigate and the prices are very reasonable.My order was filled quickly, securely and shipped within a few days.BRAVO Grand Brass!Highly recommended.

Excellent selection, quality and prices. The shipping was super fast and very well done -- I particularly like how all the small items were segmented in a long plastic bag with twist ties.Will definitely be a return customer!I can only assume the negative reviews are from people ordering the wrong parts -- you can't expect Amazon-like return policies with a small business when it wasn't the fault of the business.

I build and rewire lights. I have shopped here for a number of years, and this is the only place I shop for lighting related stuff. 9 times out of 10, the orders are perfect. The few times I've had to change things or needed customer service, they have been stellar. It's a relatively small business as far as I can tell, and the pricing, inventory and customer service are all excellent. Honestly, I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review.

I am impressed with the size of their online catalog, they have thousands of parts nicely organized so I can even find things that I'm not even sure what the correct name of the part is. I have repaired or restored a number elaborate light fixtures, using parts I have ordered from here. And at very reasonable prices. I am pleased that a vendor like this is still around.From some of the negative reviews I see here perhaps they aren't for everyone, or every project, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I am completely satisfied with the orders I have made from their vast selection of parts, and at good prices. I take my time, I figure out exactly what I need, since these repair tasks are one-off things that I haven't done something exactly like that before. I'm not lamp/lighting expert. But the results have been successful and I have made several people very happy by restoring their lighting fixtures, and I wouldn't have been able to do so without this site/catalog and company. That's my two cents. Thank you Grand Brass Lamp Parts!

They want you to use email instead of their phone number. That is fine, but their email customer service is non-existent. They responded twice and never really committed to help a customer. Eventually stopped responding. Luckily, I found the parts I was looking for from a different establishment. I would prevent from using this company if you don't want headaches.
