Quest Diagnostics needs to completely overhaul this branch. The employees do not care about professionalism nor about the state of their workplace. The waiting area isn’t the cleanest, they have food on the same table as several urine cups!!!, and the bathroom is nasty at times. They also don’t care to take care of the clients, if they wait then that’s not a problem. I got an abnormal big bruise for about a week after getting my blood test of literally only one tube. The employees are not unkind, they are nice but not professional. My apologies.

There’s a crowd of us outside waiting for the building to open. No one called us, no one said anything. Unreliable and unprofessional.

First time coming here and I made an appointment for 1:10pm. I wasn’t aware there was a kiosks to sign into. I had filled all the information on the kiosk, and it had said that there was no result of an appointment, so I went to the door, not thinking that it led exactly to the exam rooms. The lady rudely said I’ll be right with you and I had told herI put an appointment for 1:00pm meaning to say 1:10pm. The lady rudely replied with we don’t make 1 o’clock appointment. I told her 1:10 PM and she said you can wait in the lobby. My mother also heard her on the phone and she was extremely rude. A lot of them really need to work on their respect towards patients coming in.

I was waiting for 30 minutes but none came to take care of me. I don't think this is acceptable.

I am with John A - things were awesome when my insurance allowed me to go to Yale. For the third time, I've had an issue with Quest. Within the last year, I went there without an appointment - was on the wait list - no one to blame but myself. I left because it was clear that appointments take precedence and I understood that. Today, I had an 8:30 appointment and I sat there while two people on the wait list were called ahead of me. I gestured (only) my displeasure and then a woman called me and asked me what my problem was. She did not let me finish talking - cut me off midsentence. Why ask? Then she wouldn't touch my insurance card or ID (like they were contaminated), followed by summoning another tech in to take my blood, pointedly thanking her as if the other had saved her from something terrible. When I was leaving, I tried to tell her again why I found the inconsistency troubling and again, she cut me off. Her parting words were "Have a blessed day. I hope you consider how you treated me today." I said "Back at ya'" - Seriously? How I treated her??? Then I tried to call Quest to discuss the matter, but the bot doesn't understand "customer service complaint." The bot repeatedly said, "let's try that again" and "let's try something else". Wish I could.... try somewhere else. On two previous occasions, I have had appointments disregarded - once because I was 10 minutes late in a snowstorm and another when they were busy and short-handed, and I waited for 45 minutes.

This is the west haven quest I’m talking about the two Women that work here are extremely rude . I asked a simple question they acted annoyed and dismissed me even when I asked the question twice . The sad thing about is the reason the act this way is because they are probably never held accountable for anything and they no they can speak to people anyway they Dam well please . Negative zero stars should be an option

I am deeply afraid of needles, but I managed to work up the courage to finally get blood drawn for my doctor. When I arrived, I was terrified, but when Granata called me back and welcomed me, I felt immediately calmer. Granata was so kind, gentle, professional and skilled. I have very deep veins and have NEVER had someone hit a vein first try, I have always been stuck multiple times in both arms. But Granata knew I was afraid and she was so patient finding the vein and she hit it first try! I couldn't believe it! I can't adequately explain how much it matters to someone like me to have such a positive experience at a blood draw appointment. I highly recommend this office and am so grateful for Granata and the care she provides to her patients. Thank you!

Not ideal if you’re a non-resident getting a covid test to travel home. My flight was on a Monday; had to get a test on the Friday to meet the 72 hour rule. But Quest is closed weekends; no one answers the phone on site to help w accessing their app to access my results; and most annoyingly, their online app only allows those with a SSN to access their results. It says an SSN is optional, but even tapping in 0000 doesn’t produce any results. As I don’t have SSN being from abroad, I couldn’t get my results. Thankfully enroute to the airport to fly home early Monday morning; I called the 866 number and the customer service rep emailed them to me. I would recommend visiting Yale Health for a better experience (customer service was great) and speed.

I had to have my blood drawn twice in the last two weeks. The technician who helped me is nothing short of a miracle worker! Simple: kind, professional, caring!
