I was wondering why such a low rating to a post office. No, they deserve much lower. People in there are follow different rules. Everybody works on their set of rules. They made come to post office thrice, why they couldn't pass me a simple information requiring me to get a signature. Such low standard there business holds. Obviously there ratings were so low.

Dang that’s a lot of bad reviews….so im the only one that thinks they are awesome in the post office🤷🏽♀️ and my mailman the old guy is very sweet and has good manners and conduct I’ve never had an issue I guess how you treat people that’s the treatment you get back…

I had 2 checks that were not delivered at 2 separate times. I know the post office got them because I have informed delivery. All I received was a apology but that doesn't pay my bills. Something is not right.

Every month I get a delivery that needs a signature. Usually my mailman never has an issue. But today was a female mailman and they proceeded to knock on my door, my dog barked and then they continued to walk back to their truck and leave a notice in my mailbox. And was down the street by the time I got to the door. I thought you are supposed to wait for someone to come to the door? Not just knock and walk away. And now I have to wait another 2 days for something I needed today

horrible customer service, they denied my service 45 mins before closing time, overall rude experience to me everytime i’ve been there.

By far the worst postal facility....Any time I have packages from USPS and processed from this location, is always a delay issue! They don't care and take they sweet time never mind it's the holidays

Mailmen are becoming beyond the point of lazy. Granted no one parks in front of the mailbox it’s always enough space for the mail carrier to put mail in the mailbox but he continuously complains because he can’t drive up to the mailbox to put the mail in ( it’s not enough space for the postal truck) well it’s not enough parks on the street! What ever happen to mailmen ( because he is a man who gets pissed if he has to actually reach over any further than he usually does to put mail in the mailbox!) getting out and walking two steps! Hell they use to actually get out and walk. The mail carrier who delivers on Hemlock has a major attitude! Not all but he knows who he is! Freakin mean guy who thinks he’s the mail police. He has definitely “gone postal”.

As with all other post offices, the lines are slower than you'd like. That said, the employees are kind and thoughtful, and there's a lot of parking. No self service drop off

Wait time is horrible.
Under staff like every post office. (Goverment run facility)
People are cutting in line, the staff doesn't care.
No respect.
Associates accept tips from customers.
There are no standards at this location.
What a disappointment.

Lady told my girlfriend that she couldnt pick up her hold mail until the scheduled day which is false I am a carrier so i know that clerk is lying and just lazy , please do something about her because she the only reason why this place has one star

The black lady that works there is very rude and speaks in a condescending attitude. None of the workers know how to do anything without the manager. Please hire new workers! if I could leave lower than a one star I would.

We went to the post Office 3 times on a hot day looking for a package. The agent stated the package was at Farwell post office. The first two times Brandon could not find the packages. on the third time Brandon was not in the office. nasty lady named Victoria Nivens gave my son and the agent on the phone a hard time. She refused to get up and search for my son's package,even though the agent on the phone had just spoke to someone stating the package was on site. Victoria refused to speak to the agent and she threw my son's document on the counter. Victoria was very rude and nasty to my son. My son is a very easy going person and was nothing except kind to Victoria. Finally after traveling to two other post offices in West Haven we were back at Allingtown post office where the manager came out because Victoria was very loud and my son handed him the information and the manager retreated to the mail room and emerged with my son's package that was there the entire time. All of that driving back and fourth for nothing because those two workers are lazy and miserable with bad attitudes. I noticed Victoria being nasty to a customers before me. The guy in front of me even asked her if she was having a better day than the last time he was there...turns out she had a previous incident with a female customer. I wouldn't be surprised if she has an incident once a week. Horrible customer service from both of the workers. The poor manager was very sweet. I feel sorry for him.
