Ye Old Spirits is a historic liquor store in West Haven, now reopened as a new package store with no affiliation to the previous owner. It is a small, mom and pop style boutique booze shop and a hidden gem with a loyal following. The store has a vast and impressive inventory, boasting the best beer and whiskey selection in the area. It benefits from an ownership connection to bigger stores, giving it a world-class, meticulously curated selection, especially for craft beer and whiskey. The employees are very nice, friendly, lively, and clean, creating a good-natured feeling. They are willing to special order any item and often have orders ready for regulars. The prices are very good. It is a great place to check out.
Staff person was great, friendly and very helpful when I asked questions about particular beverages
