“As a realtor and shoreline resident for 30+ years I am so lucky to have Joe and his team at Source Antiques helping so many of my clients. Joe is personally involved in doing estate sales which is held either online or in person. After searching for someone who truly knew the market, Joe gets top dollar for all the items. He is a pleasure to work with and happy to refer him. Five STARS for Sure!!!”

“Well, what a spectacular find this was. Settled in the downtown of the quissential quaint New England town of Deep river Connecticut is G’s treasure barn . The moment you walk in it is way grander on the inside than it looks on the outside( always a bonus). We were greeted by a friendly man who was actually talking to a local ( nice to see a talking community). We walked around some booths when we ran into this very cool find that was a candle holder with three great smelling candles included with it for only 26$, what a steal! We left it next to the counter and had a friendly laugh with the man who was working there and had made a very nice joke. We walked more around the store and noticed that things went for absolutely exceptional prices. We couldn’t find anything else that we NEEDED but a lot of things went WANTED! So we checked out and, well, kept the supposed gift that the candle holder was supposed to be. Great gift to myself though, lol. Anyways, an amazing stop for anyone in the area who loves antiques with great prices.”

“Not only does David possess a wealth of knowledge and a purists eye, he has a passionate integrity about the quality of his shop and the quality of both buyers and sellers experience with him. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him tell me about certain pieces I had inherited and greatly greatly appreciated his sensitivity, patience and kindness as I dealt with letting go of some of my mother’s estate”

“This hidden gem is the unlikely mashup of a surprisingly well-organized vintage shop (everything from tools, housewares, sporting equipment, antiques and records/tapes/CDs/Dvds), used bookshop (in a geodesic dome outbuilding, no less), and a great little bird and reptile animal rescue facility. You can tell the animals are well cared for as they are cohorted in social groups, have immaculate enclosures and have a variety of toys to play with. What a hidden gem.”

“The employees at this store are fabulous. I've been watching a chair on Chairish for months, and it was finally reduced to a really excellent price. They held it for me until I could get there today. I guess I wasn't sure how big it is, but it's HUGE. It for sure didn't fit in the back of my SUV. so the employees managed to get fit it in with just a small portion protruding and bungee corded it very securely in my vehicle so I could make the seventy mile drive home with my new purchase. Thanks so much for the effort. I'm thrilled with my purchase.”

Overall fun experience and walked away with some cool new to me stuff.”

“When we first moved to Connecticut this was the very first Antique store we visited and we couldn't have had a better experience. The owner was very nice, smart, and knowledgeable about every piece we inquired about and we ended up getting a Cedar Chest from him. We always try to go back when we can to see what new and unique things he has at his shop.”
