Charged over $2,500 for 3 stitches and x-ray of my hand. The counter said they “charge a little more than urgent care.”I think urgent care would probably charge like $500 for this… Therefore they charge 5 TIMES what urgent care charges NOT a little more.I guess the care was good and line was little or none

I had an excellent experience in the ER from being checked in at the front desk, with the nurse, the ladies who took me to X-ray and with Dr Dolan. Everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable and warm while I awaited the outcome of my visit. I would highly recommend using the Shoreline Clinic if you need to visit an ER.

I was sent here by ambulance after experiencing dizziness, difficulty breathing, serious stomach pain, i could see ect.. I was put in a wheelchair, thrown in a waiting room. My 15 year old daughter had to hold my shoulders up so I wouldn't fall out of the chair. After 30 mins, I was place in a bed! 3hrs no nurse no doctor, Nothing!!! But the staff had enough time to make several plates of cupcakes and treats to take home.. I was treated very poorly! I ended up leaving .. went to another hospital... thank God fof

This review is for lab services and diagnostic imaging. I have been multiple times and had to bring my two year old. Everyone is so kind and patient with us even though he has a ton of energy. I also have gotten results back in under an hour most times which is so nice when waiting on important information. I have had many different phlebotomists and they’re all fantastic even when busy. I also had a mammogram and ultrasound done here and had fantastic experiences. Thank you to all! I specifically request my lab work be sent here even though my specialists favor another lab.

Horrible experience! Except the front desk lady who checked me in was very pleasant, the nurse was rude, judgemental I saw her and another nurse laughed talking about me making it known. It's funny too cause I know doctors in the field who are head doctors, they are not in CT anymore but I was warned about the bad healthcare in this area. The MD here said my blood work was fine, well that's a huge lie actually the worst I've ever had possible serious issues. They don't care about patients, why are you in this field of work? Pathetic

They let me leave with an extremely swollen tongue after one medication they tried didn’t work. No other options just was told it was “weird.” The nurse was super nice though! Just didn’t feel like I received any help.

Waited over 3 hours at emergency room. We ended up leaving and not getting care because none of the healthcare professionals came to our room. There weren’t many patients there. Seemed short staffed. Very disappointing and frustrating, and frankly, scary. Budget seems to be a priority over quality care.

Several hours of waiting in extreme pain. Refused to order MRI and ordered X-Ray only, for a condition that had a very little chance of showing any in x-ray. Condition also has possibility to cause permanent damage if not addressed. Left with very strong pain medications, which had little benefit. We need practitioners, even those in emergency medicine, willing to be outcome driven and not insurance industry puppets.

I will never go there again. Just terrible care! Rudeness would have been tolerated if the care was sufficient. I had to tell them my father was dehydrated and needed an I’ve. When they did it, they did it wrong!! Just awful!!

If I could give negative stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hospital, and unfortunately I have a good amount of experience visiting various hospitals due to a health condition my youngest child had.We brought our two year old in to the ER, and after the initial triage nurse chatted with us, no one came in to check on us for four hours. As you can imagine, being in an ER with a young toddler is challenging at baseline, but to add zero updates or communication on top of it made it incredibly difficult. We had to beg for an update, only to be ignored by the nurses and the facility staff, or spoken to very rudely. And while I of course know critical patients take (and should take) priority, every time I approached the nurses station they were so rude to us. We've never felt so uncared for. I just can't believe after 4 hours a nurse didn't come check-in with us one time, especially since we were with such a young kid who was in pain. We eventually had to leave and seek care elsewhere. Avoid at all cost.

I have never been treated so rudely so many times than at this hospital. Most of the nurses and staff are beyond rude and demeaning. I severely needed help and I walked out they were so bad to me.

This place is a really mixed bag, and it’s pretty unfortunate because they’re so convenient. My PCP here is fantastic. The phlebotomist I usually see here at shoreline is the best ever. And so is my Endocrinologist (middletown Office). But the support staff in each area can span the spectrum of great to ridiculously poor. The emergency room has proven to be very good and I do trust the doctors there. The support staff again can make a bad situation worse. I was once over prescribed thyroid meds for months and ended up going into thyroid storm after months of complaining that my heart is pounding out of my chest and everyone kept telling me to hang in there. I went to the emergency room for the thyroid storm and the admitting nurse was unconcerned and misunderstood my response to a question, so she took all my clothes and my phone and wanted to put me on suicide watch, which made the already chaotic situation massively terrifying. Every other time I’ve been there before this incident, it was always a decent experience, and I always referred friends to them. I still have a major fear of the emergency room because of that incident. The hospital eventually addressed this particular situation and they recognized the fault on their end.But on a different event they actually saved my life when I went into cardiac arrest.I really think they can have a great thing going on there. But when it’s bad, it’s pretty bad.I keep wanting to stay with Middlesex for my healthcare because of the Drs, but then the nonsense adds up and I lose patience. I’ve begun looking for new Drs in other hospital systems as a backup plan. The facilities are actually pretty nice and clean. The best solution is to clean up the riff raff and hire better support for the doctors.Last, and all the new check-in tablets are a joke, especially when you need to go through the same questions at the window. Big waste of time.

worst experience i ever had in an emergency, if u have a loved one who is in a lot of pain do not go here! No bed side manner or empathy!! Had to leave and go to Yale emergency in guilford, very caring, no waiting and rooms filled! amazing!!
