The mail delivery time is not predictable.Some times we get our mail after 5PM on a Monday.Other days vary.
We lived in East Lyme for many years where the post office was much more reliable.

I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I experienced at the front desk today. Your staff member I believe his name is Jack (red hair)I I interacted with was rude and unprofessional during our interaction, which left me feeling quite disappointed.
I value the service and reputation of my local post office so I felt it was important to share this feedback. I would appreciate it if this matter could be addressed to ensure a more positive experience for all customers in the future.

I had $100 in bronze jewelry mysteriously go missing once, when I still lived in Westbrook--never received the packages. I didn't ever find out who the thief was--could have been a renegade postal worker, or just a nasty neighbor.

First time I ever had an issue, of course it’s always been someone else at the desk and not this guy: I asked the red head guy that works there a question about throwing a package that I sent out. He became very offensive and rude. He also made a unneeded comment as I walked out. Very unprofessional. Everyone else is very kind there:

I needed guaranteed delivery for an art competition, so I entered this post office on the morning of 2/13 after verifying the cost of mailing my package through the USPS website. When I got to the Westbrook office, the man behind the counter assumed it would be too expensive for me to ship without verifying anything, then put in the wrong dimensions and tried to charge me $250 extra. He then made "jokes" about the package accidentally going missing before finally processing the shipment. I had guaranteed overnight delivery (2/14 by 6 pm) and there's been no update since 2/13 at 9 pm. I have no idea what this man had against me, but I am now out both $49 and my painting unless by a miracle it is found. I will never go to this post office branch again.

I recieve many packages for a couple of years now and service is excellent but I feel bad that they are understaffed and seem stressed.
