“This is a very good store that has a higher-end feel to it with a vineyard style interior. They have a great selection, very broad, of a variety of wines, liquors and beers. The beer has its own side store within the store. The sales personnel are very knowledgeable and very helpful and professional. They also have a selection of alcohol-free wine and other beverages. They have many accoutrements available to create your drinks. It is also connected to a wonderful wine and cheese store and in the back of the store they have a cute mini bar with string lights where they feature wine and cheese tasting at various times. Their prices are the same as another discount place that I have been to, in most respects. I highly recommend them.”

“Night and Day! They are under new ownership! Like other reviews, I have had a bad experience here in the past that made me drive past it to go to another store just because of the experience.Things have changed! The new owner is very caring and genuinely a nice man who cares about your experience and willing to fix the previous owners wrongs. Pricing is in line with competitors, but the thing that stands out is their refrigerated section seems bigger than others, especially the chilled wine section (a need during these summer months).”

“Stew’s is my go-to place for all my beverages. Lemme tell you why: Yes, it’s big and has all the brands. Yes, the prices are really competitive. But the people who work there are SUPER knowledgeable. When it comes to wine in particular, it can be overwhelming walking into a giant super-store like Total Wine or BevMax. Vast collections of vino are organized by varietal or region and little more.
Stew’s connoisseurs, led by JoAnn LoGiurato and her team, are highly educated and beyond helpful. Better still, they’ve set up sections that offer wines by rating (90+ wines under $30, etc.) that is super helpful when you want to try something new. They also have a labeling system that denotes staff favorites, which is a nice touch and allows you to develop relationships with the team.
Simply put, there’s nowhere else I’d rather go to pick up my favorite bottles or for guidance in trying something new. Ask for JoAnn—she’s the best!”
“Great location. There isn't another liquor store within a mile of this place, so it's really convenient. Plenty of parking, friendly , knowledgeable staff. It's not a "super" store, which I like. Therefore they don't have a giant selection, but that's ok, because the beer is COLD!!”

However, the true gem that is store is comes when you aren't exactly sure what you want. The staff (particularly the owner) are very good with recommendations (especially the scotch and whiskey choices). Tell them a general taste and they can open your tastebuds to a new sensation.Have asked them for whiskey, wine, and scotch opinions and every single time the recipient has raved about the choice.They can also do special orders as of a few months ago and I believe that hasn't changed. Location is a little tricky to park and get out of, but keep your eyes open and it isn't too bad. The stoplight can be helpful for getting out and back in 25 in a timely manner.”

“Stopped in a couple of weeks ago for a Birthday celebration gift. The cashier was super friendly, helpful and personable -really genuine and down to Earth. The prices were actually decent in this smaller Town store. I was pleased. I complimented him at the end of the transaction for all the kindness and help in locating the unique selections I was looking for and asked his name, Turned out he was the owner! :) The store got busy at that point and he even managed to gift wrap up 2 bottles of the wine and put them in a pretty pink box for me to carry. Oh my goodness, I will definitely shop there from now on and highly recommend!”
