I’ve had my hair cut and colored by Ava for years and she always does a wonderful job! She’s attentive and welcoming and I never struggle to find an appointment that works with my schedule. Can’t recommend enough!

I had the most wonderful experience with Ava! She was not only friendly and professional, but her expertise really showed through. I came in with an idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure how to go about it. She listened carefully and gave great suggestions, and the final result was better than I could have imagined! The cut and color are absolutely perfect.
Ava made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Ava is also very knowledgeable when it comes to products and what would work best for you and your hair!
I highly recommend Ava to anyone looking for a talented and personable stylist! I always leave Ava’s chair feeling beautiful and confident!

Katie is brilliant with hair color. Keen eye for tone and placement. She does a superb job on my mom’s auburn hair (a notoriously difficult color for countless colorists), applied natural highlights and subtle glazes for me and my sister, and most recently gave me unique, funky/fun highlights with a custom-mixed color.
The team at the salon, Katie, Matt, Siany, and Ava are lovely, nice, and cool - no pretentions, which you know is common in many other Fairfield County salons!
They also sell top-notch products, including some from hard-to-find brands (Milbon), and Katie has good product recommendations to keep color-treated hair healthy.

After moving to Connecticut from Manhattan, I had a difficult time finding a salon where the stylists were as experienced and skilled as those in the city. That is, until a friend told me about Headliners. Carolyn, Kate and the whole team are amazing. They are masters at cut, color, and both the latest trends and classic styles. They always treat you wonderfully and make you feel like part of their family. I highly recommend this salon.

When I go to a Salon I usually say “ this is the best hair cut ever thank you so much” even though I don’t mean it. But at this salon I felt like I can say that and it be true. My hair cut just makes me have a happy day.

I have been here twice. The first time was for a haircut and blow dry. Everything was good; I was satisfied with the service, my hair looked great, the facility was clean, the people friendly. I went again to get my hair dyed, single-process color. I called ahead to make an appointment, and was quoted an $80 price. This correlated with the posted prices on their website, so I agreed and went to the appointment. Again, I found the stylist to be friendly and helpful. We decided what color would cover my grays, and she went and mixed the color. Just before she put the brush to my hair, she asked if I wanted to talk about price, and I said I had already been given a price on the phone. She then told me that $80 was simply for the roots, and if I wanted the rest of my hair dyed, it would be an additional $35 minimum. I was surprised by this sudden increase in price. I have very thin hair, which doesn't quite hit my shoulders. I understand that prices vary based on length and thickness, but my situation doesn't seem out of the ordinary: medium length, fine brown hair getting dyed a regular brown color. I was put off by the 50% price increase, so I didn't get my hair dyed. The stylist seemed competent, so I have no doubt t it would have looked beautiful. However, I refuse to engage in shady business dealings, so I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I started coming here about a year ago via word of mouth. It has not disappointed! The salon is 3rd generation family owned and you can tell it's a family because when you walk in they make you feel like family too! I get my hair colored, extensions and cut. It always looks fantastic. Kate does my hair but all of the stylists are fantastic! A hidden gem in the heart of Westport for sure!

I moved not too far away from Headliners however it’s not close either. I travel about twenty minutes to get my hair done here. I do it bc I trust them. Over the years of coming here I have built a relationship with Kate and Ava. They know my hair. It seems that I would rather spend time to travel and get my hair done the way I like it then go try out another hair salon that might not do a great job. My time is valuable and so is my hair. Thank you for all the wonderful hairstyles, you have always kept me looking good.

I am extremely picky with the way my hair is done yet this salon continuously exceeds all my high expectations. I get the most amazing haircuts and keratin treatments by Kate. She does exactly what I want with my hair & it comes out Perfect every time. It's so adorable and extremely clean inside with an abundance of high end hair and makeup products. 10/10 service& experience.
