Disappointing customer service. Misleading and disingenuous in-store marketing. “30% off shirts” sign in mens section. I picked up two $98 shirts and go to the counter to pay and then the lady tells me the sale is only for “suit shirts”. Ok fine. I go back and pick up three different shirts *directly* under the 30% off sign. She yells at me across the floor and tells me only two of the three in my hand are “suit shirts”. Very nasty attitude. I was prepared to buy all three and spend over $200. After she talks to me like I’m stupid, she then huffs and puffs, turns around and walks back to the desk. I put them down and left the store. I have been coming to this store for well over 10 years. Staff used to be good. Lady who works upstairs in men’s department should rethink the way she speaks to customers.
The same afternoon I shopped at Vince and Brooks Brothers down the street, and the staff at both of these shops actually treat you like a valued client.

Holly helped my mother and I with an exchange in the men’s department over the weekend - we were going off of some very specific fit requests and she was incredibly patient and very helpful!

Wow- what an experience. My boyfriend and I came into J. Crew Westport on a rainy Saturday looking for something specific. Salvatrice was warm, friendly and a complete expert in men’s fashion. She catered every request and really gave her honest opinion in deciding. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I was targeted and followed through the store. When the employee finally approached me, I told her I was looking at a sweater that was up on a shelf instead of offering to get me this sweater she asked if I wanted her to go down to the basement and get me a turtleneck. I've worked in retail before, she was trying to keep me in the store to see if I had anything on me as I was carrying my coat. SMH

I hade the BEST experience there yesterday. Elizabeth was warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. I got everything I needed there plus more. This store is a true example of what customer service means.

J. Crew on Main Street in Westport has a nice selection of apparel for men and women. This chain store has a wide variety of classic and stylish new clothes for spring.Many items are currently on sale. The store was well organized and clean. The staff is helpful and some of the newer accessories are impressive.

When are these stores on Main Street going to open their back doors again? Really tired of having to park in the back and walk ALL the way around the block just to go through the front door. Big inconvenience!

This is a really store. It's clean. They have a lot of beautiful clothes. The customer service is good, they'll help you and get you a fitting room but they won't push you. You can also make an appointment and have a stylist help you. This store is in Westport. You can find free parking in the area. They have good sales.
