We moved house today with Jim Fahey moving. From first contact to today, they have been responsive, professional and courteous. They did an exceptional job. They completed the move in great time, they were careful and they reconstructed all the furniture perfectly. They were really reasonable too. We’ve done around 8 moved in the last decade, some international, but I can honestly say that they were the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend them!

John and his crew of 2 were exceptionally strategic and careful with all of our belongings for our move within town. They packed most of our things late afternoon on a Sunday and then came back Monday morning to finish up. John was very flexible with the timing of our move being that the original closing date was postponed 3 days. He was attentive and professional and it was comforting having John (the owner) on site during the entire process! Very fair price and highly recommended!

These guys are GREAT! John and his two wonderful helpers picked up 2 top-heavy antique bookshelves for me in Westport and brought them to the Monroe area and managed to get them inside a couple tight doorways to our house. They were communicative with each other about how best to get these big pieces inside, and John was in communication with me days in advance so he could fit my job in amongst others. John was courteous, willing to work with me on pricing, and his team was also capable and kind. I definitely recommend them.

Thank you so much to Jim Fahey Moving and Storage who helped us move from a home in Trumbull to a condo in Stratford. The guys went out of their way to help us - not only packing up the house but also maneuvering furniture to place it exactly where we wanted in the condo. It was a very long day but their patience and skill was phenomenal. You made a stressful situation easy for us. THANK YOU! I would highly recommend this company.

Used these guys twice now. A large house move and recently a two bedroom apt move out of NYC to Southport. Absolutely the best. They are careful, professional and they have built a business with consistent, reliable hard work.

We used Jim Fahey for moving services, and were completely statisifed. Moving is a tough on everyone, but they handled it all professionally. We had very heavy items and lots of stairs to climb. Their team was able to manage it all. Pretty amazing actually. Some itmes required special handling - they did it all. Their price was resonable, and they delivered as promised. I highly recommend them, and would use them again for sure.

We recently moved, and hired these folks to help us. Glad we did! It was a fairly complicated and difficult move with lots of heavy items, stairs, and things requiring special handling. They were very professional and respectful. The price quoted was the best we got, and everything got done as agreed. They have the strongest men on the planet! Pretty amazing. Highly recommend them.

I am pleased to leave a review for Jim Fahey Moving. First, this team was prompt and well organized. They took great care with the move, worked very efficiently, and disassembled/reassembled every piece of furniture for us perfectly. There was not so much as a scuff or scratch on the floors or walls of our new home. I highly recommend these professionals for ur next move!!
