I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Westport Auto Craft! They repaired the damage to my car door perfectly. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. The job was completed exactly on time and on budget, which I truly appreciate. What stood out most was their perfect communication – I was kept informed every step of the way. It's rare to find a repair shop that excels in every aspect, but Westport Auto Craft certainly does. Highly recommend!

Westport Autocraft is the worst Autobody shop I’ve ever had the experience to work with they keep your car forever give you nothing but excuses of why it’s not done and they do not answer the phone

This is not a review I ever thought or wanted to write. I've been going to Westport Auto Craft for well over a decade, and largely had a fine experience with them. However, I had a minor fender bender and went to them with every intention of using them to repair my vehicle. For some reason, they weren't able to engage with me in a quality way in any capacity. First, they wrote my number down wrong, then they looked at my car after a few days to work the estimate with the insurance. I then spent the next three days trying to get any information on progress of the estimate and determine when they could actually perform the work. Today, I finally got them on the phone, and Rob (who I believe is the owner of the shop) basically told me he was having trouble with my insurance company (a large national and reputable company) because of a system compatibility issue. To top it off, he couldn't take the car for several more weeks. Throughout this process, I had been cordial as I have a long standing relationship with the shop. However, when I asked Rob why he never returned my calls and why he didn't say he was too busy to take the car at the onset, he said everyone was busy and good luck finding anyone that could take the car sooner. Then he hung up on me. Well, Rob - I have another body shop, and they're taking the car next week. I can't believe you threw away a good, long-time customer when I have never been anything other than understanding and reasonable. Things must be in really bad shape over there, and I will recommend people avoid your shop going forward. I had been an advocate - What a shame.

Called to see if I can get an estimate on my girlfriend’s car. Someone answered and before I can even speak they said “you’re probably selling something I’m not buying”and then hung up. I tried calling back and they won’t answer. I have a normal phone number with a local 475 area code. Will be trying elsewhere.

I took my car in Monday this week for an estimate on damage done by a drunk driver who hit me and ran away the night before. I needed an estimate ASAP because I need to reach out to the offending individual's insurance to see if it was legit, since they ran off before the police could arrive to avoid a DUI charge. I have called them three times every morning at 8AM throughout the week and now it's past business hours on Thursday. Every time they said they were busy and would send the estimate that day, three times, and they haven't so the review is for promising service they refuse to provide.

Excellent place to repair your car.Over a year ago I took my Mercedes to Westport Auto Craft.After the repair, the first thing I did was to check the work down.Couldn't find any defect at all. I checked it in the shade and in the sun, different angles, and I couldn't find any difference front the area repaired to the factory painted areas. Perfect match!In September of 2022, I took the car to Europe. Here, I run over a rock and I bent the right front control arm. The part wasn't available here because Mercedes stopped making it. I called USA and no new parts were available there either, same reason. I couldn't find neither new nor used.This was a big problem, my car would be useless.So, I called Westport Auto Craft, my last hope at this Point.Mr. Martin, immediately agreed to help me out. He called some numbers and today I got the part. Used but looking like new, and came with extra suspension parts.He was very nice and I was impressed by his willingness to help.The best in workmanship, professionalism and willingness to help his clients.António D. Went through this business after a car accident. They did a decent job with the repairs for the most part.Communication wasn’t the best and they gave/continue giving me the run around about something that needs to be fixed in my trunk. I’ve been “waiting” for this piece to come in since March now. Lol. I know it’s not coming in, but I love calling in for Rob to act like he’s calling Honda and then coming back with a bogus timeline.Now, my trunk shuts awkwardly, but what ever, I’m not dealing with the hassle anymore. My car drives.. but if I pay for a complete service, I would like all of it done & for you guys to honor your promise of fixing my trunk “the following week”.Service: Body & Trim

Absolutely loved this place ! As a Women who knows little to nothing about cars they made the process smooth & easy. I loved how honest and open they are about the whole process, quoted me on everything from the price, to how long it will take the part to get in ( updated me as soon as the the part shipped & moved up my drop off date) & how long the actual work will take. They did all the paperwork for the insurance for me & made sure the work was done promptly and in the time frame my insurance would cover for a rental car. I couldn't be more grateful for Rob & his team & the wonderful work they did on my car ! Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU !!

Honest! Yes, you heard that correctly...An auto-body place that's actually honest! They did everything they said they'd do and they charged what they said they would charge. The only guidance I'd give is: Make sure they have the parts they need BEFORE dropping your car (assuming its operable) to avoid additional delays.
