“Highly recommend! We moved and do to the move and the container, there was damage to one our furniture pieces. Since the furniture line no longer exists we couldn’t find a whole new man’s chest. We found this place through google search and they were actually responsive and able to fix something that wasn’t an antique! We were amazed at how well it came out, it’s as if nothing ever happened. “I would like to start by saying this is a lovely store with a great selection of items. On my most recent visit, I unfortunately had a poor experience. The cashier today was on an incredibly personal call while tending the store. I could hear everything including the person on the other line. They were swearing and talking about their personal relationships and even how business today was slow and they weren’t making many sales today! It was highly inappropriate. Even when a customer was checking out the attendant kept on the phone call. I found it very rude and it made for an uncomfortable shopping experience.”
“Perfect Finish refinished a kitchen table and six kitchen chairs with spindles for us. They did a fantastic job, and we would highly recommend them. They picked up the table from our house and took it to their shop in Glastonbury to do the work. After stripping the table and chairs of the old finish, we went to their location to pick out a stain for the table and chairs. They guided us to help make the right choice for the color which we are very happy with. They put on multiple coats of polyurethane over the table and chairs, and then they delivered the set to us in Rocky Hill. They were a pleasure to deal with every step of the way.”
“This store is amazing, beautiful furniture from all time periods surprisingly reasonable priced too will be back for furniture in the future, mid century modern items all over the place , went in for some knick knacks for fathers day gifts found a bunch of cool things and Eddie gave even gave me a discount from the ticket prices , super cool store and actually really big inside too lots to look at couldve stayed there all day”
“This place has been on my list for a while but I haven't been able to visit until yesterday. What a showcase or the weird and wonderful! Visual stimulation everywhere! You can tell the owners take there business very seriously. Bonus! Selene(Sp?) read my tarot cards and I'm very impressed. I don't know how she does it. I guess she's "gifted". Bonus! It's in the same building as Petrol Head Cafe' and Dead Language Brewery. It's all right there!”
“Whenever I am in the area, which is about once or twice a month, I stop in. They sell a lot of cool stuff. Everything's is priced to be a great value. It is easy to get in and out, the place is on the parkway, the "BT" as the locals call it.”
“I want to thank Bogdan for his help yesterday. My friend got a tin of coins from the owner of the house he did a clean out project for about 6 years ago. He never thought much of them. It looked like there were 4 - Seated Liberty $1 coins from the mid 1800s. They looked old but I did not have the expertise to know if they were real. I said - we have to check with an expert. Bogdan fit us in to his busy schedule. He knew just by holding them and a very quick look - all 4 fake! Thank you for your help sir. The truth is what we needed and you delivered.”
