Minor accident left my car unable to drive Towed to Gunns who had it up on lift upon arrival. Fair price quoted for repair and I was able to pick up car next day!

Over the past year, I’ve used Gunns Auto numerous times, and I can’t recommend them enough! Mark and Jackie are incredibly kind and make every visit a pleasant experience.
Over several visits, they helped me with a few different repairs, including replacing a side-view mirror, fixing a headlight, and doing a full brake replacement. The quality of their work has always been top-notch, and they completed everything very quickly (same day service!). On top of that, their prices were on the low end of average, which was a pleasant surprise given the excellent service they provided.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy and skilled mechanic shop with a family-friendly vibe, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future car maintenance needs!

If you're looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, look no further. Mark goes above and beyond in explaining the problem and getting right down to the cause. They are more than reasonably priced, and work sincerely with the customer to ensure quality service in a timely manner. I have had my brakes, oil, transmission fluid, and now my water pump and serpentine belt done here. I will never be going to another mechanic as long as I live in Connecticut. Huge thanks to the team here, I can't say enough how pleased I am with their work.

Once again, in a two month time period, Gunn's was there to save the day. We were preparing to get on the highway for a two hour trip to MA to celebrate a 92nd birthday and the car started acting up. I was able to get the car to Gunn's and even though their schedule was booked four days out, they squeezed me in, resolved the problem within two hours and charged a very fair and reasonable price with the utmost in customer service and kindness. Excellent experience as a new client! Needed brake work immediately as they were dangerous. The owners actually drove us home so we wouldn't be in danger to continue driving the vehicle. Fixed everything in half a day and at a great price! Great people, customer service and auto work. Highly recommend!!
