The Old Wethersfield Country Store is a cute, family-owned business with a quaint and homey feel. It is a great little store with an awesome and great selection of items. Shoppers will find trinkets, knick knacks, craft items, vintage candies, a nice sized candy section, decor, home goods, sundries, cold beverages, candles, spices, toys, and many Connecticut sourced items. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating, warm, personable, bubbly, funny, super sweet, and welcoming. They provide delightful experiences and are amazing conversationalists. The store is perfect for finding gifts and putting together beautiful gift baskets. Prices are decent, with some handmade items from local artists. Customers love to support this small business and consistently plan on returning for another visit.
I am constantly shopping for corporate events and gifts, so it means a lot to me to support locally owned businesses. Every time I step into the Old Wethersfield Country Store, they are friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Recently, I was sending out gifts for a campaign and they helped me find just the right item.
