I am constantly shopping for corporate events and gifts, so it means a lot to me to support locally owned businesses. Every time I step into the Old Wethersfield Country Store, they are friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Recently, I was sending out gifts for a campaign and they helped me find just the right item.

We were visiting Old Wethersfield today [9/1] and stopped into your store. It was beyond wonderful! Great selection of candy, decor, home goods and sundries. The manager was amazing and an incredible conversationalist; friendly, warm, personable, bubbly and funny. Loved all of the items we bought and a favorite... we will read it to our great-nephews or have their Uncle Kevin read it to them <3
Cannot wait for another visit to Old Wethersfield and explore more of the area.

Got the most beautiful gift basket put together by Marjorie (sorry if I misspelled or misinterpreted your name) with items of my choosing, loved the way it turned out so much! Very cute family owned business. So many Connecticut sourced items. Thanks again! Will be returning!

The country store is a great little store in old Wethersfield! They have an awesome selection of trinkets, vintage candies, and cold beverages. Plus the owner of the store is super sweet and welcoming. Great energy!

A cute country shop with a quaint homey feel to it. There were many knick knacks and craft items. They had a nice sized candy section. There are random toys like a teeth chattering one that my toddler liked. There are candles and spices. We bought an item; painted wood of the American flag for our living room. The prices were decent. We spent a little more on the wooden board because it was handmade by a local artist and we love to support small businesses. Overall, a nice store and you can find many gift items here too.

I love this store. There’s so much here to enjoy whether it’s gifts, crafts, candy. Margie is delightful and you can feel her passion and enthusiasm. What a great addition to this charming town.

We stopped in for a quick visit and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the charming quality of this store. There’s a wide variety of tchotchkes, foodstuffs, gifts and CANDY! Yes, old-fashioned candy you can grab from the jar and fill your candy bags to your heart’s content! And Margie, the owner is pleasant and fun, too!

Absolutely LOVE the Old Wethersfield Country Store! The new owner invited me to be a vendor and provided my wood flowers a spot in the store, but there's so many other great things about this Main St store. You never know what cute items for a gift or yourself you will find there! Plus locally made kombucha and an old fashioned candy bar. There are always nicely curated sections for upcoming holidays.
