Extremely rude and unprofessional. When I told the groomer how I wanted my dogs hair cut she told me I was wrong and she would only do it the way she learned in a book??????????

Such a great job, really listened to what I wanted done! Really love that they don’t cage the dogs and just take them one by one so you’re not leaving your dog for long periods of time. They’re always booked up for a reason, but they do have a cancellation list!

Called them to ask for an appointment as the groomer I had gone to had closed. The person on the phone scoffed," yeah they closed two years ago." (Actually, no it was more recent during covid.) Then they cut me off saying they weren't taking any new dogs. Very rude and unwelcoming response to a call offering new business. A lesson in phone etiquette could help them greatly.

I took my puppy and regret it right away but I didn’t want to seem rude and even left her a good tip.1) I asked the lady not to change anything just cut off the excess hair but not too short, when I came to pick him up I didn’t recognize my puppy, he looked so bad, that square uneven forehead. I just wanted his puppy haircut back! OK I didn’t say anything we came home fixed his haircut and checked his mouth to see how they cleaned his teeth and saw his lower gum turned purple, it means they were rough with him! I’m so disappointed!!!! I’m sure they delete bad reviews but shame on you ladies!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone this place!

they are the best. that is why they are so busy and can't handle more dogs! that is what happens when you are so good. they treat the pups like family... no crates, no harm, no secrets... just LOVE LOVE. thanks Kate.

After our Dog Groomer in Newington closed I was hard pressed to find a new place to bring Harley to. Luckily a friend of mine recommended Ooh La La and I am so happy she did. The two ladies that run the place are as nice as can be. I work from home so it's great to be able to drop him off and pick him up in about an hour. Harley comes back to me fresh, clean and with a cute bandana depending on the season. They are always really busy so it is best to book several appointments in a row. Note that they only accept cash or check and they write all their appointment down long hand. It might be old school but there is nothing old school about the care and attention that they give to Harley. I highly recommend!

I'm dogs have been going to Ooh La La from day 1. It is well worth the 16 mile drive. Place is clean, employees are kind, friendly and treat dogs so well. No cages either. I cannot say enough ... wonderful!

I’m not sure I can think of a better place to leave your dog for a groom. The pooches are all treated like family. The services are very thorough and professional. The pricing is very fair. We are very pleased to have found this place.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming, and they donate the proceeds from nail trims to animal charities. An all around great place. Would recommend to all dog owners in the area, 5 stars.

Since google does not allow a business to reply to any reviews and also doesn't allow unwarranted reviews to be deleted, I would like to address the 1 star review. Our records indicate that you visited our salon with you're 4 month old puppy. This was your puppies first groom. We explained in great detail that we would do the best we could with your pup, doing as much as your dog allowed being only 4 months old. Grooming is a lifelong commitment and we try to make their experience as positive as possible. We are sorry that the haircut was not up to your standards. As far as the teeth brushing, we also explained to you in great detail that WE DO NOT BRUSH TEETH when you requested this service at drop off. We believe that is a job for the vet due to the risk of loosening up any tarter which could lead to infection if there is broken skin inside the mouth. That is not a risk we are willing to take. So if your pup had a issue inside the mouth I can assure you it was not from us. I am more than willing to pull up the video footage of your pups entire groom so you can see for yourself there was no rough behavior from anyone at Ooh La La. We don't practice or condone that type of handeling and we praise ourselves on our upmost professionalism and safety. Every dogs safety is ALWAYS our first priority. Good luck to you and your pups future grooming.
