The Chas. C. Hart Seed Co. is a great local pick-up spot for heirloom and other quality seeds, as well as fertilizer. The staff is very pleasant, helpful, and provides 100% accurate advice. The very cute little showroom can be difficult to find. The company is a source for golf courses and colleges, but seeds must be purchased at a local garden center as they only do wholesale. A catalog is available online.
Talked with staff member about product I had purchased. Very pleasant and helpful. Only disappointing thing was Hart does not provide a consumer catalogue and just does wholesale. So seeds from Hart need to be purchased at your local garden center.
