“Jean has emerged from the alleyway to occupy the once burgeoning store called Beadworks! The Restaurant on the corner of Water and Washington streets is a the perfect final stop for a time well spent where the good vibes flow!
Jean has expanded her footprint to the delight of those who have joined the swelling ranks in the wool addicted as well as those who have suffered through the night attempting to think their way through a pile of yarn knitted by the cat.
She’s the crochet goddess of the street, who has the patience of a saint with an avid knitter who thinks my way around challenges… either successfully or disastrously, having learned the best lesson from Jean… when the project starts to take on a serious detour not resembling a person. Just stop when the earth starts spinning out of control, put stoppers on your needles, highlight the last row correctly worked, wrap the pattern, tools, notions and notes, in tissue, wait for a well rested morning, fresh coffee, after some self care, a delicious treat from the Sono Baking Company around the corner from Jean. Enjoy, breathe. Then, importantly, wash your hands and open your package!

“I actually was quite surprised when i entered the store. I came in looking for a simple black dress or something to wear to my mothers funeral. They had all types of dresses from ball gowns to prom, then the casual work wear, and basics any woman could fill her closet with. They are all very personable there, and willing to work with you. They have everything for Prom- from the shoes, dress, bag, and jewelry to make your choice come to life in their fitting room (which is very modern but i felt equally protected)
Almost reminded me of being fit for a wedding gown. I would recommend”

“The owner, Mora, makes you feel right at home. She's owned this store in Ridgefield (previously called Children's Corner) for 25 years. However, 15 years ago she decided to expand. So, she moved to Bailey Avenue in Ridgefield + sells consignment clothing for both women + children. (Sorry guys!) I've been driving by this location for years. Kept telling myself that I really ought to stop in some day. TODAY WAS THE DAY! The entrance is deceiving - you walk down about 6 stairs + open the door. The amount she has to offer is amazing! All sorted by type: active, dresses, skirts, blouses, et.c. Do yourself a favor + stop by. She even has a clearance rack. I picked up a lovely bathing suit + a silky blouse.”
“The store is neat and the staff is professional and friendly. I can't give it five stars because they are the only store in the area that opens at 11:00. I think it's time they go back to their regular hours.”
“This has quickly become my FAVORITE shop for kids gifts and clothes. The staff is so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me every time I pop in to peruse. So much of retail is so impersonal these days- but this shop totally bucks that trend and is a breath of fresh air. “Although this store is much smaller than the one in Greenwich, the service is absolutely amazing. When I walked in I was greeted by the staff immediately. Justine knows that it's my very first time there, he quickly shows me where everything is. He also pointed out the sales items. I took an item to the fitting room to try it on. Justine checked with me if the shirt fits and offered to bring me a slightly larger one. While he was ringing up my item, I described one item that I like from the store and he immediately helped me to look for it, although he couldn't my size. The customer service in this store is undoubtedly superb.”

“When I asked Siri to call this Old Navy in Norwalk, it said it had only 1 star and did I still want to call!? I had been there in the past and it’s been a little rough around the edges. But I did proceed and I have to write this review because today , not only did the person answer the phone courteously and stop to find an item I needed, the store was immaculate when I came to pick it up later. EVERYTHING was in its place and the three ladies closing were eager to help me and knowledgeable and capable. 5 stars for me.”

“I feel out of place every time I go to Westport. I have only ever gone to this location to make a return as most of my purchases are online. The store is immaculate. The parking situation could be better. I went on a Friday afternoon during lunch recently and I had to drive around a couple of times to find parking. This place is always busy.”
“I am a new customer of Athleta and the associates at this location are always so helpful and kind, I always end up buying something. The same can't be said for the Milford location, which is unfortunate since Milford is closer to me than Westport.”
