Merwin Meadows Park is a charming and accessible park that offers a variety of outdoor activities. It features a small lake with a beach and a pond for kids to enjoy in the summer, along with a playground and swings. The park is connected to the Norwalk River Valley Trail, which runs through it, making it a great spot for walking, running, and following the creek. The trail also links to the Wilton train station, providing easy access for visitors arriving by train. Nearby, there are two rivers and a small waterfall that add to the natural beauty of the area. Visitors can walk from the park into Wilton center to find a bite or coffee. While the park is generally very nice, some playground equipment needs repair, and the bathrooms are sometimes closed during the off-season. The park is tucked next to a main road, so some noise from passing cars can be heard. Overall, Merwin Meadows Park is a lovely spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Nice park and good access to the Norwalk River Valley Trail.

Great park and playground. Unfortunate that a pass is now required during peak season.

The park is great (when it's open) and the trails nearby are great for running and following the creek. It even connects to the train station and there is a secluded soccer field nearby.
The Man made pond, though, could be a LOT prettier... It it's sore to the eyes in an otherwise gorgeous spot.
