I wanted to leave a positive review for a beautiful young lady Kiara at the CVS in Willimantic. When I came up with my red car with my sunglasses on Kiara was really polite, she was very nice, and she had a smile on her face from when I got there till when I left. Her positive attitude showed me she likes helping to assist people. Kiara, once again thanks a lot and keep being wonderful and keep on doing great things because more employers need more employees like you!

This is not a reflection of CVS as a whole, but rather a few individuals at this location. I have been a regular customer for years and adore the staff who work in the retail area of this location.
It takes a lot for me to feel compelled to write a negative review.
The behavior of the pharmacist on duty (CJ) was absolutely unacceptable. I have never been treated so poorly in a medical setting. Not only was I dismissed and spoken over repeatedly, but I was also treated with blatant disrespect while trying to address an urgent prescription issue. This pharmacist refused to listen to facts, contradicted my doctor’s instructions, and created unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I felt so powerless and upset that I had to record the end of the conversation for my formal complaint so CVS corporate can hear how I was treated.
What’s worse, I’ve now confirmed that this location has been overriding the proper fill dates for my prescriptions, despite them being calculated correctly and approved by my insurance. This caused constant stress, as I had to double-check their work every time, only to be met with resistance or outright refusal. On multiple occasions, I had to call CVS corporate instead of even bothering with this location, and every single time, corporate resolved the issue immediately without any problems. This proves that the issues at this pharmacy are specific to this location and not a matter of CVS policy or procedure.
This isn’t an isolated issue. On multiple occasions, I’ve also encountered a female pharmacy tech at this location with a horrible attitude, making an already stressful situation worse. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, compassion, and professionalism. I have documented everything and have support from my doctor and another CVS location, where the pharmacist validated that this behavior was unacceptable. No one should be treated this way, especially when dealing with a serious health diagnosis. Adding this kind of stress to an already difficult situation is deplorable.
After contacting CVS corporate, I will also be filing a formal complaint with the state pharmacy board and the DEA to ensure this behavior is properly investigated at the highest level. This is not a reflection of CVS as a whole, but rather specific individuals at this pharmacy location who either need to be relocated or reconsider working with the general public.
As someone who has worked in customer service for over 25 years and the medical field for over 15, I know firsthand that empathy and patience are essential qualities for anyone working in healthcare. If you lack those, you should not be in this profession.
As a reminder: Connecticut is a one-party consent state for voice recordings. Avoid this location if you want your prescriptions handled correctly and without unnecessary stress. One consent means you can record voice recordings (phone calls) if you feel it is necessary.

Extremely rude to my daughter for no reason at all. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on customers!

The yellow stickees are everywhere and can be confusing as well as hiding the items or the prices of the items either on sale or not. Those yellow stickees are annoying and just too much.

As if the Neverending numbers they have us pressing just to speak to the pharmacists ain't bad enough, NOW we gotta wait for a call back at the start of a work day through a voice mail system that only calls half the time to discuss my private medical business at work. Heck no! I'm taking my business to the medical pharmacy where I got a pharmacy tech as soon as I dialed.

If I could give no stars I would. Having to call them to get a priscription done is bad as it is. Long hold, multiple transfers. NOW when we can I can’t even speak to anyone. It goes straight to voicemail. I tell everyone to stay away from all CVS. Walgreens is so much better AND YOU CAN ACCUALLY SPEAK TO SOMEONE!

Every time I asked the pharmacist they said there was no order.
I had to call my dr. 3 times to confirm they have sent in the prescription. They said they did and actually talked to lady to put it in. But after I get a call back from my dr. saying it went through, now it is lunchtime and have to wait another 30 minutes.
Whoever is managing this pharmacy is the problem.
Too bad I can’t change my pharmacy since my insurance makes me go here.

went to pick up my friends medication. Got a text yesterday that the meds were ready for pickup and on the cvs app said it was ready. Went to pick them up and the guy at the counter said nothing was ready. This is every month. She’s gone a week without her meds. the pharmacist did not care whatsoever and left. the guy at the counter them said nothing is ready we faxed your doctor for a 90 day supply because the doctor only called in a 30 day supply and insurance only pays for 90. This is ridiculous. they need better staff and the pharmacist should’ve jumped in to help. The guy at the counter then proceeded to put his hands up and say jeez calm down. As if it’s not an issue for people to go without their medication. CVS needs to get their app fixed and learn how to have better customer service. it’s ridiculous how the pharmacist stood by and did nothing and they even had a problem giving her an emergency supply which is what should’ve been offered in the first place. VERY dissatisfied in this service. Don’t go here will be going to walgreens from now on!!!!!

Clean store, great staff, and great deals! It’s nice to walk into a store and get greeted with a smile. So many stores nowadays feel empty, with nobody behind the counter and making you use the self-checkout as the only option. This store is great!

Have always found pharmacy staff to be friendly and responsive, even when things get very busy. No problems.

As 10/26/23 NO DRIVE THRU due to "staffing issues," meanwhile, there are 10 people in the pharmacy department and 3 people serving the long line inside. WTF? How about one of those people serving the drive thru? I suspect they are trying to bump up their bottom line by forcing the disabled and aged into their store to buy overpriced stuff. I would give zero stars if this allowed me to.
