Buyers beware, I’ve noticed lately that the Willimantic Stop&Shop consistently puts stuff on sale that is either expired or days before expiring, I’ve noticed this on the deli select meats like Oscar Meyer, I just bought a large yogurt today on the 25th of June on sale for 2.99 and when I got home i noticed it expired 2 days ago on the 23rd, anytime you see something on sale always check their expiration dates because I’ve seen this on more than a dozen items recently, Stop&Shop needs to get rid of the expired shit and stop trying to sell it because I’m gonna report them to the health department because it’s obvious they’re doing this knowingly that it’s expired or a couple days before expiring

Got hot dogs from the deli yesterday and they were so slimy that I had to throw them out. Shame on you for allowing those to be sold. THESE WERE NOT CHEAP EITHER. ONCE AGAIN PEOFIT BEFORE PEOPLE. Stop and Shop has once again fallen from the status it once was.

I've always loved S&S...& their products (S&S Brand) R very good 4 store brand , can't say that about a lot of other places , that's 4 sure!! So, I'll continue to b loyal to stop ~n~ shop. I hope they don't shut all of them down, that would SUCK!!

It's your standard Stop and Shop. The prices and selection aren't bad but it's not the best store I've seen in the chain.

Overwhelmingly mid-tier.
The good parts:
- Fresh food is usually very fresh and good quality.
- Almost always in stock.
- Mostly logical layout.
- Mostly clean looking.
The bad parts:
- Very unhelpful staff (across the board, I'm not exaggerating at all), which is weird since they're union and should be happy about their job.
- Loud, and also very bad music sometimes. Just get rid of the music, for God's sake! We're there to shop, not dance.
- Only 1 or 2 registers open, usually, and the rest is self checkout. I'm not ringing out my own groceries - I don't work for you. Don't make me laugh.
- The stupid robot that always gets in my way or creeps up on me when I'm minding my own business. The thing gives me the creeps. The oversized roomba should be replaced with a human being, as I'm sure there are plenty of poor people in the area that would love working there.
- Again, the registers. You have like 30 of them. Put people in them. I'm not ringing out my own stuff. Period.

I buy ham from the deli , after 2 day of eating it i notice it have bunch of of pieces of plastic ! i will not buy ham at this store again !
