Reserves an intermediate vehicle in September. Upon arrival , no car type ie reserved was available.I got choice of pick up truck or 3 year old Mustang Convertable with about 60k miles. Very uncomfortable ride for older cars individual to get in an out of. Noisy and rattling and rough ride. Experience at airport pick up was Alamo Number at kiosk was disconnected, and no notice I was taken care of by Enterprise, but took additional time!. Yes, I understand it was during holiday - but if I take time to reserve in advance a vehicle, it should be held and I should not be subject to the leftover care that no one wants or should have been removed from your fleet - very disappointed!

The vehicle wasn’t immediately available when I arrived and when they found a like vehicle I had rented, the disinfectant was over powering. It eventually cleared after 5 days. There was some sort of object inside the front vent that rolled around when cornering. The vehicle overall was terrific. When I returned it, the person receiving it took a few dollars off which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely rent through Alamo again.

Poor experience; Alamo misled me. When I checked out a car at the Denver Airport Alamo on 8/6/23 at 10:51 am, I told the agent that my plans were changing, and I would likely not need the car until 8/12/23 at 4 pm as originally reserved. The agent said that there was no need to alter my paid reservation then, and that I would be refunded the difference if I eventually returned the car a day early. I returned the car to Denver on 8/12/23 at 10:10 am, thus cutting a day off the reservation. The agent supervising car returns told me to contact customer service for the refund. I contacted an Alamo customer service rep, and she said "Alamo does not make adjustments or give refunds," contrary to what the Denver Alamo agent told me. Customer service said they would "escalate this to Corporate," but over three weeks later, I have heard nothing.

Unaware of a 400 dollar hold which it should’ve been let known ahead of time before I moved forward on the day of rental. Awareness a (heads up) is a very important factor to me. I would’ve not rented if I’ve known that. Plus it was way cheaper with hertz which if I had done more search. I won’t use Alamo, National nor enterprise there has always Been issues with both Alamo and enterprise where at enterprise in the past I was accused of something that never happen as I rented a car with enterprise when I used to work for my employer.

Employees were very honorable and friendly and efficient. Dressed well and cordial. The only downside as I pulled out gas tank very low- Was not full. Got the car late and that extra stop to get gas was a little of just another thing on my mind to do before the hotel stop. Outside of that one is thing great experience.

Easy pickup and drop off at Bradley-Hartford Airport. Pacifica was perfect for our road tip in Vermont. Only wished we had been shown more of the features and controls of vehicle at pickup.

My experience at Alamo was amazing. I am not used to receiving good customer service anymore as it seems most companies have given up trying. From the person in the lot who ran over to help us pick out our car, to a follow up email while we were renting and right up to the return when the return person asked a number of times if everything was ok with the rental experience. They all seemed to care that my experience was a good one and I appreciated that. That feeling does not happen often. Go Alamo

Staff was fantastic!!Although we waited a little longer than we would have liked, to pick up the car…when the cleaned (brand new) car arrived, it wreaked of smoke. So, we returned it and we were immediately taken care of with an upgrade. We were not looking for an upgrade, or the sports car we received, but the gesture was appreciated.Everyone working really went the extra mile to take care of us.

Alamo Rent A Car at Bradley International Airport provides a great rental experience, start to finish. Grouped together with Enterprise and National, the trifecta work together to provide superior service. The desk agent did a great job processing the contract and getting the car pulled up. The attendant who brought the minivan to me helped fold the seats down so I could get all stuff in the vehicle I needed to. Return was seamless. The only hesitation was the process getting out of the parking lot, but will chalk that up to a new process.

We rented a full size car from Alamo. The check in was easy and done on a portable device from an agent who come over to us as we walked up. The car was clean and ready to go. The return was quick and efficient. I will definitely rent from Alamo again.

Easy check-in (even at 1am) and return. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean vehicle and facility. Although the car we had reserved was no longer available, we really enjoyed the upgraded vehicle without the added expense. Would rent again from Alamo.
