The best benefits and time off options I've had outside of gov jobs, but better pay than most entry level gov jobs. However, I don't recommend staying there as a middle manager. Either stay sane as a tier 1 and reap the benefits, or decide to move up at least to ops, because low level manager pay gets outpaced by upper tier hourly associates that do OT... although I heard they scaled it up after I left, and graduate applicants always got a better pay package anyway.Easy to move up if you're looking to get to management level without a degree. It may take some time since they love graduates with zero experience more, but it's 100% possible to make it if you work hard and follow directions. Be aware of high school cliques, gossip, and essentially a building full of adult children who are mostly the managers. Site is now BDL2 and has taken a steady nosedive since the restructure. #RIPBDL1

My daughter won a drawing contest for families of employees. My nephew (who lives with me) was working there at the time. Amazon gave him the prize (an iPad) abs then terminated him a day later. All his belongings including her prize were in his locker. He cannot go get them due to their policies. It's been over 6 months and we have not been able to get the contents of the locker. My 13 year old is devastated. Thanks Amazon

App shows delivery attempted at 444PM. Our buildings CCTV system shows no delivery attempted in addition to my instructions to call if needed not being followed. We received a call from customer service assuring us the delivery would be here by 10PM as a "redelivery" and it wasn't; costing $479 in towing and local transport! Incontrovertibly unacceptable. This is a common issue according to reviews.

Terrible management and low pay. Was talking to one of the safety managers about their job because I was considering being one. She was telling me that you need an advanced certification such as emt or paramedic certificate. I said well is the pay high then due to the job qualifications and she said nope we get less than 20$/hr. I said we'll emt and paramedic school isn't easy and it's not free. Her response this is amazon?

I was working as IT Equipment Coordinator there.Several pros and lot of cons.Amazon IT dept isn't interested. Some ways are toxic work environment. I give some examples.IT equipment frequently broken done by stupid people.Need have soft heart if any employee often lost security keys it need replacement. Not feeling right.People sometimes steal IT assets.Amazon not really focus operation system issues. One hundred percent wrong. I know every IT technician need know everything including deeply OS troubleshooting experiences.I discourage to join the employer's IT dept. I recommend join other IT employer outside Amazon network.

You can compare the hiring process, to judges who don’t know anything they’re talking about, I was forced to defend myself from a family member at the age of 19, and they were 25, I graduated first of my class and actually have physical and mental attributes that could significantly benefit the company and my application was denied to due to negligence and stupidity, this will cost the company in the future (: enjoy your physically incapable and mentally inadequate employees.

Worked here for 4 months as a security guard. Hate the disrespect I was given constantly from coworkers and amazon employees. The only thing beneficial from here was getting the hours. Pay ain't worth it. You will definitely find a better distribution center to work at as a security guard I guarantee you.
