“Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to James and Tom! I have personally witnessed true customer service from the both of them with other customers and myself!
James went above and beyond honoring a sale that didn’t start till the next day but because the signs were out he went ahead and honored the sale price which was really appreciated and just totally cool!
With Tom I witnessed a customer upset that there was a price discrepancy over an item that was a couple bucks and to provide a great experience and customer service Tom out of his own pocket bought the item for the customer!
It was truly amazing to see how caring and customer oriented these two were and how refreshing it truly was!
I just think the both of them deserve the respect of being recognized in a job where thanks isn’t always given!

“I’d rate this place a 10 star if I could this worker named Heaven never ceases to impress me. she’s showed me kindness and compassion when helping me look for my items . She’s always the best help . Being sure I find what I need and let’s me know when I can come back incase they don’t have the items today , shes the only reason I ever go to Park ST dollar tree lol 😆 it’s crazy in Hartford so I prefer out of town areas but man! She’s definitely someone who deserves to be promoted. I’d hire her at my own store if I could. Every time I go isles aren’t messy but instead stocked nice and neatly and she always has the best attitude even in this horrible heat .”

“I can't speak highly enough about this location. It's clean, staff is friendly, they have a little bit of everything. Shopping here means I save money and time. Every now and then they have fantastic toys sales for the kiddo's. My children and grand kids love the finds I get here. Highly recommended!”

“I actually came here for the 1st time today. And I am floored by the amazing customer service.. I walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile and hello. Upon checkout I was asked if I found everything ok and if I needed a bag (all asked with a smile on the young ladies face) the same individual that greeted me was the same young lady that helped me with checkout her name was Jen... She is exactly the type of employee that more places need. She did her job above and beyond all with a friendly smile. Kudos to Dollar general for finding such an amazing young lady to interact with their customers. I will definitely shop here again based on this one experience alone. “This particular Family Dollar is the best around the Hartford location. I stopped here to get a couple of things and was surprised to see how much stuff they had compared to the other Family Dollars on Park street. The entire store was well kept! It was clean had fully stocked shelves. They have things at this Family Dollar that I've never seen at other FD's. I couldn't believe how much stuff they sold. The employees are helpful. If you're unable to locate something they walk you to the item. They also treat you with respect!!!! This is my new go to Family Dollar that's for sure!”

“This place is alright. I come here almost everyday and experience some problems. The biggest problem I've had is that the store is very short staffed and the lines take up 10-15 minutes when there is only 1 person in the checkout.
Another problem I have is some things are messy and all over the place.
The good things are they have everything you need when stopping around, the place is quiet with no customers being lousy, they restock everything frequently, And the some of the employees are pretty chill”
“I’ve been shopping at this Dollar Tree for a while and I can honestly say it’s gotten way better recently. The new store manager Erin has really been putting in effort to turn the store around after it was neglected for a long time. The store is cleaner, more organized, and you can actually see the improvement little by little. There’s still work to do, but compared to before, the difference is noticeable. Respect to the staff that’s actually trying to make the place better.”
