I got an estimate to fix the bed of my p/u on 8/18, and was told it would take 1 week. I dropped the truck off on 8/25 and heard nothing so I called the shop on 9/2 and was told they hadn't started yet but they would that day and it would be ready by Fri. 9/5. It was and I picked it up on 9/6. The paint job was not good and I told them that. The finish was crinkly and orange peel-like in spots. I could have done better myself with some rattle cans in my driveway. And they lost 2 rubber seal cups for the bed and have not heard from them about them. This was the 3rd time they've worked on the vehicle. I got a quote for some painting on the truck but may not trust them to do it. I've called them 3 times with no return calls. I've tried to email them on their web site 3 times but could not get through. Seems like they don't want to know. Oh, this is the Wolcott CT store.

Excellent, the girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful . Not that I needed the help, but they even helped bring the fender from the car to the paint shop ...and the price was spot in.

I can’t say enough good things about Sao Auto Repair! David took care of me like family. I brought my car in thinking it was going to be a huge problem — it was making this crazy noise and I was sure the transmission was shot. David checked it out, kept me updated the whole time, and turns out it was nothing major. He saved me a ton of money and had me back on the road the same day. Honest, knowledgeable, and super professional. The whole shop runs smooth and you can tell they really care about their customers. Definitely recommend this place

Absolutely unacceptable experience at the Maaco in Wolcott, CT. An employee, L.B., behaved in the most unprofessional and disrespectful way I’ve ever seen from a business representative — all while on the job and representing Maaco.
This was not just rude — it was appalling behavior for anyone in customer service. Shockingly, the only consequence given to this employee was a one-week suspension, which in no way matches the seriousness of what happened.
I would never recommend this location to anyone after witnessing such treatment. Maaco corporate should seriously reconsider how they handle employee conduct if they care about maintaining customer trust.

I had a fender painted during Covid by Dent Danny who offered body work at your home. Poor job. Macco had to strip, prime and repaint. Excellent and affordable price. My truck is next!

They did a very good job of installing and replacing the new bumper. It looks very good. And they went around and touched up the body with the touchup paint and detailed the exterior, which came out very nice.

Gave one of our older tri axles a new face lift. John was very communicative throughout the entire process and was very up front with pricing and timelines. The team did an excellent job restoring our truck. Would highly recommend anyone looking to freshen up some equipment at a fair price.
