The pharmacist is a complete idiot, the staff, lazy, rude & incompetent.
They NEVER fill prescriptions on time & lie about when INSULIN will be in stock.
I was told that my anti-seizure medication was on backorder for an "indefinite amount of time, but she would call when back in stock."
Turns out it was there the never out of stock & I only found out that the witch was lying when I called two weeks later.
Last time I went, my bottle which was "checked twice by the female pharmacist" HAD THE WRONG MEDICATION IN IT.
They can't even process insurance information correctly, Medicare/Medicaid customers getting the worst of that. Diabetics getting treated like they aren't wanted as customers unless they're paying in cash without insurance.
Since 2022 the staff decided that they needed to close for over an hour a day (in addition to opening late, closing early or not opening at all whilst the rest of the store is open) in addition to their normal breaks.
They always claim to be understaffed yet there can be only two customers with 5+ pharmacy staff behind the counter, maybe one or two are working while the others are talking/laughing with eachother.
GET YOUR IDIOT EMPLOYEES UNDER CONTROL RITEAID!! I've never seen such an incompetent & lazy pharmacy staff.
I'm quite shocked that corporate closed the Waterbury store & kept this horror show open.
I've contacted corporate via phone & through the site on numerous occasions yet they don't fix the problems. Tomorrow I'm filing a grievance with the state of Connecticut.

I came in late last night and was going crazy trying to find Make up that matched my skin tone. Nichole over heard and offered her help. She stood with me for around 15 minutes giving me her opinions on which colors to get and what brands would work best. Amazing customer service and literal life saver! It was a perfect match once I got home.

In addition to the erratic drive thru hours, be prepared to wait a week for most refills. I've been ordering the same medication on their app for the last 7 days in a row without a response. I'd call but this happens on a regular basis, and calling is also a waste of time.

The service at the pharmacy is awful, if you go there you wait; even when you receive a message that your prescription is ready. When you call, it just rings and if they answer they put you on hold and never returns. I'm done.

Terrible customer service. Was stalked around the store by employee. Check out was unfriendly too. Used to be a nice store but lately they've really gone down hill.

The worst pharmacy ever. Very rude and unprofessional. The regular store is very good and the employees are nice. But the pharmacy seriously needs some new people. They are all rude and just terrible at life.

you need to hire staff. there’s no reason for the pharmacy to be closed on a Tuesday. These lines are ridiculous. It really shows that this company only cares about greed and not the actual people that come to them for help. Disgusting.

Called a prescription in. After two days I went in to pick up and They said they never got the refill request.. I have been trying to reach them by phone for hours now with no answer at all.

They don't have a clue anymore about your prescriptions. They leave in your hands to straight out any miscommunications. Not the same anymore. I think online service will give more attention...
