The teachers are truly exceptional; it's amazing what activities they come up with and the care they give to our little one. Special shout out to Infant 1 and Twos B classrooms for their amazing teachers. Our little one LOVES going here and comes home having learned so much each day. The team is so great about snacks, keeping everyone healthy, and making sure outdoor time happen each day. Finally, the teachers have been so good about letting us know what they're teaching Grace and we likewise have shared her preferences and new developments, which they've always handled well. “We whole heartedly would recommend Little White House to anyone looking for daycare. Our son started there when he was 4 months old and right from the start they made the transition of going back to work very smooth. We were updated with pictures throughout the day and the teachers were always available. There is constant communication from the teachers day to day at drop off and pick up. You can tell that your child is really receiving personalized care and they grow to know each and every child and make sure their needs are being met. They make sure transitions to new classrooms are smooth. Recently my son moved up a class and before he was even there his new teachers walked by us at pick up and waved hi and knew his name. By the time he went to his new room it was all familiar. They have early morning hours which is convenient for parents who need to work early. Overall could not be happier and we could not imagine having our son anywhere else! Seeing them and their little friends they make and their relationship with the teachers is very special :)”

“We sent our son to this Kindercare for nearly four months, from when he was 6 months to almost 11 months. We had to withdraw him because of a move, but we do not have enough good things to say about the center staff and the center director. They were communicative and transparent with our son's needs and went to great lengths to ensure that he was thriving. We loved getting to see him interact with the other children. The environment that this Kindercare fosters has really helped him grow. We are saddened that we have to leave, especially when it is clear that his teachers care so much for him. We will miss this center, but we are glad for the time spent there.”

“Our son began at Bright Horizons in Shelton when he was 5 months old. The staff here is amazing. We were so sad when we had to leave because we moved too far away. He loved his teachers and the curriculum was great. We loved getting the updates all day long. When it was time to transition to the toddler room, the thought and care everyone put into his transition was remarkable. They made sure it would be as smooth as possible. Everyone is so friendly and you very quickly feel like family. He has transitioned so well in his new daycare and I believe it's partly due to how well BH prepared him. We will miss BH and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great daycare. I'll never forget how sad his teachers were to see him go, the care they had for him was exceptional. They also have an open door policy so you can go visit your child anytime you want. It's also very secure so I always felt he was safe when he was there. They also provide great communication. Lastly there is an option to get hot lunch from an amazing Italian restaurant next door. Our little guy enjoyed his occasional delicious Italian meals. Bright Horizons is a great daycare option if you are in need of one.”

“The Smart Start is a hidden gem. I trust this facility with my children’s lives. We have attended for almost 3 years now with 3 children. One of my children has medical needs and they are always on top of everything. The staff is wonderful and caring. My children genuinely have fun here! I get so many updates about their day and wonderful photos. Smaller class sizes are perfect and allow for more individual attention in the younger classes.”

“We are so appreciative to all the amazing Duck Pond teachers for three years of showering our kiddos with all smiles, love, hugs, kisses, and back rubs at nap time. We love them all, especially Cheri, Kerri, Jen, Loni, Alyssa, Bri, Jaz, Sam, Angie, Heather and Max for bringing so much joy to our kids. Our babies have loved Duck Pond and we haven't doubted for one day that they have felt happy, safe and loved. Duck Pond is a bright and cheerful daycare that provides great healthy snacks, colorful crafts and many fun activities. Our son loved meeting local firemen, holding snakes and baby alligators and chinchillas, and watching magic shows among other fun treats . It's also a great place to make friends with other families with young kids and a great little community. We are imperfect people and the staff are people too. I appreciate that the teachers have always been really receptive and supportive regarding any of our concerns and address any questions right away. They keep in close communication with an app and send lots of great pictures throughout the day.”

The staff keep me in the loop with pictures and messages. My son (3yrs) comes home every day and tells me how much he loves his school and teachers. “I would describe myself as an "anxious parent." When looking for a preschool for my son I visited bunch of different schools in the area! Bethesda was the last one I went too. As soon as I walked in I was hooked. I have to give a lot of the credit to the director Sara. She is very warm and understanding, she listened to all my concerns and made me very very comfortable. The classroom feels like home! The best part is they have an in door climber room with a slide that is my sons favorite!I was most attracted to the shorter schedule as most nursery schools in the area do not offer anymore. 8:15 Am -1:00pm as well as later hours. It was very important to me to find a school that did not a have a big turn around with teachers. Bethesda teachers have all been there longer the 5 years, some more then 15 years!Good communication is very important to me, if my son has a hard morning and I want to call just to check in I know that I can and they get back to be quickly and often with a photo of him elbows deep in some sort of project.Bethesda becomes a second home for your child. My son talks about his teachers at home all the time. He wants to go to school in the morning. I feel so happy knowing I found the perfect place for my son to spend his first years of school!”

“The teachers here do their best to work with the kids. They all bring their unique personalities together and seem to enjoy watching the kids. Miss. Val and Miss. Shay, have a wonderful connection with my child and it is very wholesome to see her interact with them as she grows and develops. Most of the kids get along well. Miss Megan and Miss Marlene work tirelessly in the office to make and keep things fair for the parents and make sure we as parents stay updated.

After several years of having my children at Apple Tree, I can't thank them enough for their positive contributions to the development of both my boys in their toddler years.
