LaBonne's catered my 4th of July party. Teriyaki beef kabobs, chicken and veg skewers, chicken tendies for the kiddos, pasta salad and ribs etc.- all sensational!!! Cookies and brownies rocked too. Will absolutely return for all future catering needs. 10-stars! Thanks for delivering and kudos to the team taking my order, they were the kindest women in all the land!

Charming little grocery store located in Woodbury. Family owned so prices will be higher than the big box stores. They focus on better quality and brands which also causes some of the higher prices. The better quality is also in the deli department. They do an amazing job with prepared foods for a supermarket. Huge parking lot, friendly staff.

LaBonne's offers exceptionally fresh products in a clean, organized setting. I particularly like their butcher shop and the deli area. The employees are well trained and always helpful. Their customer service, overall, is excellent.

This is a grocery store that carries pretty much exactly what kind of food you think it would, i.e. okay-ish quality goods overpriced in a reseller-esque convenience store fashion (also, the "specialty" and higher-quality items harped on about in a few reviews are overtaken by the vast sea of these goods). I understand "small" business owners (snide quotation marks because this place makes a killing, despite being physically small) have to survive and sometimes that comes with higher prices, but for an unoriginal grocery store like this that has next to no self-made products and bog-standard quality for the most part, it's inexcusable to charge what they do. And, hey, they used to make very palatable salmon burgers... but they're long gone! So I'm patently disgruntled (understandably, hopefully) with what they have made of themselves, and what they expect customers to pay for in their exceedingly mediocre store. In closing, I should say that giving a single star to LaBonne's would evidently be too low, for this place can (obviously) be convenient at times for very select things if you live nearby; and another thing, the meat sales can be good at times if you just need some decent-enough protein in a flash. 2.2/5 Postlude: I don't know what the other reviewer from Bethel, CT is saying about the prices... even if the prices ended up matching S&S "overall" (a dubious and likely spurious claim), that's not exactly a feat of preeminence, given the exorbitant amounts they charge and all (needless to say, there's grocery stores with very similar quality and lower prices). Also, I just wish that this review would visibly knock the aggregate star rating down that little bit more like my review of Lamothe's Sugar House did, but alas, the rating system is too obtuse to account for such a "minute" change with this "many" reviews, what with the flagrant lack of 0.1 increments and all... There should be a drop in a boldy-displayed X.X number next to the aggregate rating bar, and consequently more fine-tuned shading of the squares to accompany this.

I love LaBonnes. I now have home delivery service but before this I shopped in the market. I have had LaBonnes cater many lunches and parties. So very good and reliable. My best spot to shop.

LaBonnes Markets should be recognized and praised for their efforts to keep all patrons and employees safe during Covid! The additional care and expense this local business has exercised for this effort is rare and appreciated! In addition to their great employeees and services, Kudos to LaBonnes!

LaBonne's Woodbury, CT is simply a large scale convenience store, EXTREMELY high priced. Happy they're here in town for the last minute needed items and most residents do drive to Southbury for grocery shopping. A few of the older ladies that check you out are not the friendliest however, the other employees are quite friendly.

Unless you're a sale shopper this store is very expensive. They cater to the NYC crowd, not the locals in any way.

I think it's fabulous that LaBonne's market is giving its employees Sunday's off during this Covid-19 pandemic. The staff of LaBonne's is doing a phenomenal job. May they all stay safe and healthy during this time. Dawn Macary Waterbury, CT

Went to LaBonne's first time yesterday. Bought the pre-cooked salmon and after heating it up a bit, it was delicious! Bought about four times more than I intended because the prices matched Stop & Shop overall. The things I spent more on, evened out when I added up the savings on other items. Workers were polite and cheerful too. Very pleasant experience. I wish the lighting was a little brighter but that is a tiny aesthetic. Wish they had more choices for the almond milk but again not a deal breaker.

Labonnes's is a small family supermarket that is community focused (food drives, charging points during major power outages etc). The staff are friendly, the offerings are commendably diverse for a small store (e.g. nan breads, craft beers) and its fast to get in and out off in a hurry.

I'm giving this a 4-star rating (vs. a 5-star) only because I've never really "shopped" here before, aside from my recent drop-in for a few items. So, I can't speak to their selections or quality or prices. But WHAT an impressive "customer" experience I had recently! Last week I was driving through town (about 20 minutes from home) and tried finding Labonne's by memory. I needed to pull over and ring the store for directions, and the girl was helpful in telling me how to get there. I was behind schedule, so I asked the fella (Teddy) at the Customer Service desk if he could please share where I could find my five items on my list. At my request, he wrote the aisle numbers on my shopping list, right next to the items. (I was impressed he knew so quickly where everything was!) Then, before I could turn around and head out looking for them, a lady (Terri), perhaps the manager, literally walked me to every single item on my list to help me get out of the store quickly. She must have overhead my conversation with Teddy. And, as if that wasn't enough sunshine for three whole minutes - at the register, Julia, the cashier, gave a big smile and asked a cheerful question (something like "How is your day going?") and appeared happy and nice, too. WHAT a terrific experience I had here. This trio-tag-team made my day! If you three are reading this, "Thank you!" I say. :)

LaBonne's meats are good - can't be argued. Their produce of generally ok, but hit or miss. Everything else is just sort of there. So for anything beyond the meat, the value of the store is that it is more convenient, albeit more expensive, than the larger markets farther away. But there is one area where they seriously fall down: customer service. The old pros who would probably know how to fix a problem always seem to be on the cash registers. The customer service desk is left to high school kids who are disinterested at best, and blatantly rude at worst. Given my experience today, I'm fairly sure I'll avoid LaBonne's for at least a week until this latest round of teenage discourtesy wears off. LaBonne's has been in this location far too long to continue this sort of shoddy service. Shame on them.
