My 9 year old Golden needed knee surgery for a torn ACL. Dr Mitterling made the process easy and they gave great educational information. It was expensive, but most veterinary things are and my pet insurance covered most of it thank goodness. The techs at the clinic are all friendly and helpful.

We have been going to woodstock vet for years. I can’t recommend them enough. Very caring staff, makes you feel like your pets are being cared for by family! Dr Nielsen Thank you for taking care of Tahoe over the past few months. You were amazing and handled his care with grace and expertise. My family is so thankful for your wonderful care.

Amazing staff is sure to put your pet @ ease. Peanut Butter was picked up from the streets of the Bronx & has been great getting his shots & getting fixed here! Yea they're great with the kitty's too!

My dog was so sick & they wouldn't squeeze me in for appointment. Said they work 1/2 days bring her to Sturbridge. This place is so uncaring & I left that vet & had her paperwork transfer to her new place that got me in right away& took very good care of her.

I have been going to Woodstock Veterinary Climic for the last 8 years for my pets. Yesterday, however, I needed them and they could not offer my dog the assistance that she needed. I was turned away from Ocean State on Sunday because they were operating at a level 4 life threatening only. That was upsetting however I had confidence that when I called my vet Monday morning that they would be able to assist my dogs needs. I called as soon as they opened left a voice mail as well as texted the office. I received a text message back stating that unfortunately they did not have any openings and gave me a list of other places to call, one of which was not seeing any new cases. I took it upon myself to call another local vet who went above and behind to have my dog seen same day (she has never been there before). Soon after I revived a call from Woodstock Vet saying that the could get her in July 29th, I said that is crazy my dog is a lot of pain and can not wait until then, I asked the young woman to have some records faxed to new facility which she tried to give me a difficult time over. Needless to say my poor little girl needs to have emergency surgery this week as well as being treated for a tick borne infection. If I would have waited until the 29th my dog would not be here. I was told today by staff that they are short handed and so on, I understand but they should be making EVERY effort to gather all information and pass it along to be triaged to know if the pup or kitty is truly in distress and make accommodations to be seen asap! I have worked on the medical field for 18 years with human patients and animal patients should be treated exactly the same. They are our children and we do our best to keep them safe. With that said I no longer will have my dogs go yo a vet that does not put animals first!

I’ve been bringing all my animals to the Woodstock Veterinary Clinic for years. They are extraordinary and treat your animals as if they were their own. I had a cat with many health concerns and they always made the time to see him when necessary. I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone else! Dr. Pastorello goes above and beyond!
