I used the scan-and-go feature on the 7/11 app to purchase a drink. When I went to show the receipt to the cashier, he was distracted, listening to music on his phone. After he finally came over, I showed him the receipt from the app, but he claimed I hadn’t paid, despite me showing proof of payment through the 7/11 app. He still wouldn’t let me leave with my drink, and his attitude became aggressive and while doing this he was still distracted by his phone. It felt like he essentially stole my money from my 7/11 wallet. Thankfully, I contacted customer service to resolve the issue.

Why does Google not give you the option of just writing a review and not leaving any stars....that is off topic I know but returning to topic THIS LOCATION 908 17TH ST IS NOT A 24 HOUR 7 ELEVEN LOCATION...Which is pretty confusing since 7 Eleven is a 24 hour convenient store retailer chain. I arrived sometime after 12AM and was told they were closed. When I asked the man (who btw had an out of this country of the United States accent, not sure where from) through the door of course (because at this time they are closed) what time did they open? He response is " I don't know " but I know that a certain clocks are universal and something like time is something you should always be aware of if you go to a different country and their numbers are different, time zone is different. Etc. I feel as though he should have had a way better more helpful response. Rude (may not know any better especially once I realized he is not from the USA so I'll pity him and pray for him versus anything else......) but most definitely rude and also they are not a real 7 Eleven because they are not 24 hours.....

The worst 7 eleven I have seen in the world. They just close when they want. Even the employees are inside they say they are busy to open. I never seen something like that and it is incredible to see that in Washington DC. The opening time is 24/7 but they are inside with the doors closed. I hope the management close the business. It is a shame for 7 eleven.

Not 24 hours and just saw the worker throw out $100+ of hot food. I guess this 7 eleven likes losing money. Oh, And homeless guy lives out front.

If you're coming in to just grab a drink or something quick then most times this location is a nice in-and-out. Sometimes it can be overburdened with lottery players which can cause long lines, and the store is already pretty cramped inside so the line begins to impede getting around the store. 17th street is a busy street during the workday so expect panhandling.
