Store has been locked the last few times I have been by. Each time employees have been inside but made no attempt to open the door. I have called the store to see what their issue is but no one ever answers, the phone just rings insistently. As far as I’m concerned this store doesn’t exist.

I have never written a review for anyone until now. The cashier at this 7/11 on the night shift of October 7 was religiophobic to me as a Catholic woman, now you might ask how that is? Well it all started when he told me and my friend that next time we come in here our bags must be placed and left at the front, our shopping bags right as we were about to pay for our two sodas. I told him I swear to God I did not steal nor did my friend, he continued to pressure us as minors that we stole when we did not. When I told him that I swore to God that I did not steal he proceeded to ask me what God I believe in, I told him that I am Catholic. He then proceeded to ask me as a minor what church I go to and asked me where the church is located. I found this very creepy as a young lady at a 7/11 trying to get juice and cola. I told this man he was being disrespectful to me as he said he doesn't believe that I believe in my God and that I am Catholic. He said all of that with a smirk on his face. This man not only was religiophobic but as well as creepy almost pedophilic as he did not leave me alone even after I told him I was a minor nor did he apologize after I told him I felt disrespected and he clearly knew I was upset. I would give this 0 stars if that was possible, yelp should start to add that as an option.

Went today to get $40 in quick picks. The cashier took my money and then gave me my tickets. I noticed that all 4 tickets had the exact same numbers. When I pointed this out he said that is what I asked for. He obviously did something wrong and when I ask him to fix it…he said I can’t do that you got what you asked for. I will never grace their doors again. They have horrible customer service, the store is dirty, dark and poorly stocked. Find another location to support because these people just don’t care.

Needing to gather some supplies in the very early hours of the day, I can't stop thinking about how much of a beneficial resource this location was during the extremely cold weather of nighttime. During my time outaide, I passed several other 7-Eleven stores which were all closed.Inside, item selection has a surprising amount of drink and snack varieties. However, service was much more uninviting and awkward than I would have expected. Across four separate transactions of about 20 items in total, the cashier chose to not bag our items and to instead hand everyone in my group bags for themselves to use. It was unusual, to say the least, given that the entire five minutes with the cashier was spent in silence.

Looks like they got a new manager and employees, didn't have any trouble like the past reviews were explaining.

I needed a plastic fork because one of the lame restaurants around here wouldn't give me one. The nice gentleman behind the counter wouldn't take my money and gave me a fork. What a great establishment. Definitely worth your business. Fantastic experience!

Dumpy, low stock, and definitely not open 23 hours a day.I have been in DC for ten days now and staying around the corner. On four of those days I have either needed something between 11:00 pm and 1:00 a.m. or I’ve walked by the store during those hours. Each and every time a hand-drawn sign says they’re close and the door is locked.Additionally, I have been in the store when they decided to be open. As I said above, it’s dumpy and their selection is lacking, even by 7-11 standards.

I went there at 6.30pm. The floor was sticky and not cleaned. No more stocks on products. Straws were anywhere. It was a mess. Strange because we are in DC. I miss the huge welcome we had in 7-11 in Thaïland!!!

Google shows 24 hours. Their posted sign on the door says they are open until 11 pm. I show up at 1038 PM and the door is locked and the cashier refuses to let me in because HE decided he didn't want to stay open until 11 pm. This is not a Mom and Pop store which can change their hours on a whim. This is 7-11 in downtown Washington DC and they are awful. This is extremely common in DC, as I always get some sort of excuse from the employees why they won't sell lottery tickets anymore or why they close early, etc. I'm not sure if 7-11 is corporate or they are franchises but whomever manages the NW DC stores has really been terrible. The only thing that is consistent is don't plan on going to 711 after sundown and expect it to be open or for you to be able to purchase everything they offer. Lottery and food are the first to go.
