First of all, this place is NOT open 24/7. In fact, they regularly lock their doors and refuse to let anyone in for hours at a time, beginning after 12:00-2:00 a.m.Why do they do this when 1) the employees are inside and don't seem busy with anything, 2) multiple customers are waiting outside— sometimes in cold and rain—for the store to open, and 3) they claim to be open 24 hours a day online and on their doors? Often, this 7-Eleven location and the only other 7-Eleven within walking distance (several blocks south, next to the Columbia Heights Metro station) are BOTH closed at night. Almost everything nearby is closed when these locations close down, cutting off some people's only affordable options to get dinner after working late. Not to mention: the store is often dirty, lacks basic inventory items sold at every other 7-Eleven, sells stale food and broken merchandise, and (some of) the employees don't seem to speak enough English to understand "Can you put a pizza in the oven?" or "Can I buy a lighter too?"At least the other 7-Eleven to the south will put up handwritten "Closed" sign. That basic courtesy is apparently too difficult for the manager of this location. The employees just lock up, stand around with the lights on, and do nothing except tell people that knock on the door to go away...why? Just why? I seriously want an answer: 7-Eleven, why does this keep happening?[I can almost guarantee I'll get an automatic reply telling me to submit my feedback on their website, and they will never answer the question. I can tell they really care about customer service! ?]

The employees here should be fired. They don’t wear gloves when handling food, don’t wear hairnets, the store is dirty, i’ve seen cockroaches there, this store is horrible and no one should be coming to this store.

The system of this place is old, it should be changed. They only accept cash and not by card. The part of paying by card is ruined and when I paid they charged me 24.56 dollars without giving me the products. The employees were very rude to me and my brother

Every time we get roll up. It’s so stale bro. It breaks immediately. It’s literally our forth time getting roll up and we got two..both stale and old. If you’re going to sell Tobacco at least make sure it’s a decent product. Definitely not buying from this 7/11 again. Sad case.

This is embarrassing disgraceful and dishonoring. I can't use the restroom to wash my hands before I use the items in the store to make my food or my coffee. But it's equal for someone else to use the restroom despite if it's a police officer he works in the public I work in the public I spend my money here I should be able to use the restroom to wash my hands or to use the restroom if it's an emergency. This is inhumane reviews. Only in America. Thanks 7 11 for adding to equality.

I am DISGUSTED I visited this location this evening to stop by for a big gulp, I was hoping to get coca cola and they were out I proceeded to tell the worker and she said she couldn't do anything about it. I turned around to the coffee station and pulled on the coffee lever as I was going to get some instead of soda, another worker then approached me with a disgusting and disrespectful attitude and told me to stop "pulling on shit" after I noticed the "coffee" was FOAMY and squirting everywhere because they do not keep up with their stations and need to learn a thing or two about customer service.

Isn't 7-11 whole thing that they're 24 hours? Why is it every single time I come here the door is locked and the guy working won't let anyone in?

A dump. I’ve consistently had to return spoiled milk to this location and nobody seems to care. I’ve contacted the corporate offices, the department of health and the better business bureau of Washington, DC. Let’s see what happens next.
