Top-notch custom framing with excellent customer service. A&A frame pricing is really reasonable and they provided excellent consultation on how to get the best aesthetic for my artwork. Additionally, they recognized my artwork had a crooked edge and talked me through ideas for minimizing that distraction in the frame. I’ve had three custom frames with A&A and they are all beautiful. I highly recommend. Including photos of a couple of them for reference.

Top notch quality and service! Have been going here for years to get my paintings framed. Superb customer service—friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable of the craft. Pretty good selection of frames at reasonable prices with quite a fast turnaround.

I highly recommend A and A. I brought in a special print to custom frame for my daughter and they did a fantastic job for a fantastic price. The owner was so helpful and nice. He did such a great job that I asked about another piece I had and he quickly came up with a great readymade frame and a custom mat, also for a great price. He knew I was leaving town the next day and he offered to try to get the framing done the same day. 2 hours later he called me and both frames were complete and both looked great. He even gave me some hooks to hang up the artwork. I felt very lucky to have found this place. Could not have been a better experience!

A&A Art & Frame is terrific! They do excellent work, and I've been more than impressed by all of the pieces they have framed for me. They are incredibly personable and professional, and Arif is great at helping you choose matting and framing that elevates your art. I highly recommend them - what a great locally owned framing store in DC!

I was rushing around DC trying to find a framer that could do a gallery quality framing job, for an exhibition I was involved in - but the art had to be ready to hang within 12 days. I originally went to the art store/framers across the street (where I buy my art materials) hoping they could help me out. They couldn't guarantee I'd get it in time, so they suggested A&A Art and Frame across the street. And I am so glad they did. Right from the start Arif assured me that time wasn't an issue and I felt really comfortable with using them to frame my art. This was a big charcoal drawing (44"x30") and I had a specific idea in my mind on how I wanted it framed. Arif voiced his concerns on my idea and I really appreciated his honesty and expertise, because no other framer mentioned the issues, which would have been significant. And the finished product would have been double the cost. We came up with the best solution that would compliment my art and create an overall piece that would suit any type of interior space. In the end, Arif had it ready for me in a week, it was about half the cost of what I was expecting and it really looked amazing. I know they have struggled during the pandemic and as an Artist in DC, I will send them all the business I can and I hope you will do the same.

I highly recommend A and A framing. Fantastic customer service, great framing , very reasonable prices and same day service ! They did a custom frame for me at a great price that looks terrific! They also did a custom mat with a readymade frame, also at a great price! The owner is so nice and helpful and knowledgeable. It could not have been a better experience!

My experience with A&A was fantastic from A to Z. I wanted some items that meant a lot put into some sort of shadow box/display case, but had no idea what to do exactly. The friendliest staff there walked me through my options, showed me examples of what the final product might look like, and walked me through all of the prices. The end result was not only very reasonably priced (definitely much cheaper than anywhere else in DC as well), but it was incredibly well done. I have had it hanging for weeks now and there are too many comments of people asking where I got it done to count. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service and quick work. Dropped off a custom size picture to mat and frame, and he had it done later that afternoon as perfect as I had envisioned. They do their work in house, which gives them this flexibility.
