A hardware store like they used to be! You can get pretty much anything you need here. They also have a plant shop attached. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, I have always had positive experiences and left with everything I needed (and then some ?). This place is a DC classic and I highly recommend it for household needs.

I have been going to Fragers for years and they are becoming very unfriendly lately. It appeared that both the cashier in the garden department and another in the main store were very unhappy to be there. I’m not sure if I can continue shopping there if this continues.

I went to this store today and I one of the cashier (a woman) was kind of rude with me, she ignored me when I said that I had membership (reward program) with them and even said thank you or hello or welcome, anything like that, at least could you guys train your cashiers and workers well on the good customer service they should offer? The prices are high compared to other places, a smile on the face would be enough to thank customers for shopping at this store.
