Great concept and execution from a tech perspective but inconsistency kills this for me. Basic things are out of stock half the time. There are items that will show up and then go out of stock only to never be seen in the store again. Not to mention posted open hours are a joke…will open late and close earlier than posted with no warning and no consistency.

Shelves were empty and the salmon I got was two tiny pieces stacked together to make it look larger. It was also half frozen even though it was from the refrigerated section and the texture is awful and full of bones, for 15$! Whatever the fish version of gamey is also. This grocery store sucks and Amazon should stick to online only or Whole Foods geez!

I must admit, I go to this store a lot. It's the closest grocery store to my house. I go because I can get in and out in a jiffy and not deal with waiting in a checkout line. The walk-out technology is really great (no surly checkout people, or broken self-checkout machines). I can pick up my Amazon packages at the locker and return items in a breeze. However, the store always seems barren. Sometimes, entire shelves are void of any products and the place often gives off an onset-pandemic vibe. Do the shelves have few products because there are so few customers, or are there few customers because there are not a lot of products on the shelves? The place seems poorly run. On most visits, I pick up about 70% of the items I want, but that should be near 100% since I'm normally looking for basic pantry-like items. I hope this store does better in the future, but something tells me that this place won't be around for the long-term.

A complete disappointment. I thought they had better products. It's just an upscale version of a 711

People really hype this place up because of its “pick-up-walk-out” vibe…once you scan your impossible hard to find QR code in the app, you scan and everything is recorded. It’s pretty hard to actually shop here, (like being able to cross a few things off the grocery list type shop). Everything is alittle more expensive then your Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s, and the store is never stocked past 70%.

Can't enter freely but by scanning your Amazon account or a credit card to open the turnstile. Exit is also via a turnstile. Items were not as fresh as some other Amazon stores that are somewhat bigger. I wonder if this is really technological progress?

It was an experience. Not what I would call a grocery store. That's a store for people who are single and cook for only one day at a time. Also, the butter ball turkey company should be ashamed of themselves. That turkey breast wasn't as big as your fist. Personally, I'm not a fan, but they seem to have a pretty good flow of people who only wanted only a couple of things.

I'm from Illinois and I had a great experience there. This store in DC was not the same. There's limited groceries and the fruit really isn't fresh. I purchased a sliced watermelon packed a day ago. It was spoiled - $9.00. Unless your using it for delivery with pre-packed things I would not recommend

I do nor know why I was afraid to go into Amazon Fresh Stores. I thought the prices would be over the top but this was not the case. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was also amazed at not having to check out. I selected my groceries, backed my groceries and walked out. This was mind blowing ?.

First time using it and it was weird in a good way lol. Felt like any other store except no line on your way out. It just felt kind of like stealing cause you just walk out. Makes you wish every store was like that was really convenient.
