TLDR: This was.... ok. Very small. The main room is great, but there isn't much going on in the other sections. Does not even hold a candle to teamlab. Full Review: the only other digital art experiences I've been to have been teamlab: Borderless and teamlab: planets. These are orders of magnitude better. It's like comparing the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History to a nifty rock you found on the ground. That being said, the concept is cool. The main room is nice and has a lengthy rotation of images that plays on loop. The rest of the exhibit is disappointing. We doubled back a few times looking for more, but there just... wasn't much there. Some of the interactive things weren't working.Ticket cost was ok, but they do have a veteran discount. Staff was also very friendly! This is probably better for kids, I saw several in awe in the main room. For adults, this isn't really worth it.

Went here because they were listed on Guide to Imbibe for a drink deal and it was so fun! The exhibit was a NASA related theme which was really interesting and we ended up staying for a full 2 hours! I do recommend booking online and purchasing a drink with your ticket because it's cheaper that way than ordering at the bar

What an awesome experience! We went there for their Christmas show. We had so much fun doing mini puzzles and were treated once we completed them at the end with a free spin of the wheel and price. The show was absolutely awesome for the entire family. Definitely recommend checking out any show they have. Don't want to foil the show so I didn't post a video for you but trust me that you got to check it out!

My first review at Artechouse but my second time here! The first time I went, it was the cherry blossom festival so it was themed this way. Beautifully decorated!I recently went 2 days ago for the beyond the lights exhibit. The colors and lighting was really cool, but it's a very small exhibit. Many of their displays were redundant. I do like that they added the option now to have drinks but I also don't like that they don't allow you to walk around with your beverage so you're restricted to stay at the bar. As for pricing, they offer discounts for first responders and students but only for time slots before 7 PM (the time restriction is a bit silly in my opinion). I would consider revisiting for a different exhibit (like the holiday version) but i don't think I would come back to see anything I've already seen.

I enjoyed the recent Christmas themed digital video exhibit on New Year's Day. Nice way to start 2024. I'll be watching for future immersive video exhibits to see there as well. The staff was very helpful. They also have a bar above the actual display area that I'll try out next time. Note, the immersive moving images can be disorienting and lead to dizziness.

Elevator and lift as well.

This was extremely underwhelming for the amount of money it cost. It was very small (even extensively looking at everything, took under an hour). It wasn’t very interactive and half of the interactive present opener games with joystick were missing a joystick and thus nonfunctional. The app was not great; the animations were really choppy and didn’t seem optimized to a phone screen. The main cinematic experience was like imax…but worse and shorter.Everything in the exhibit did photograph extremely well and honestly the entire experience seemed geared toward posting on social media as opposed to novel or interesting art. I will say it might be worth it to bring kids - a lot of the younger children around me seemed to have fun.

Overall the concept, art style, connection to NASA are very cool features that make this exhibit worthy of checking out.My complaints are on par with many others here: the entire experience is about 25 minutes. The secondary exhibits were a bit of a letdown compared to the main. The biggest problem I had was the proximity of the bar to the main exhibit room. The experience is lessened when I can hear bar chatter and people mixing drinks

Need to take some last holiday photos and get a visual/auditory experience, come here. They have phenomenal backdrops and the "main room" has videos on a loop that also makde for a great backdrop. There is an interactive aspect, you download the app and collect the ornaments that are seen while walking the exhibit. This is a small, more intimate exhibit so don't come here expecting to have your day filled. The entire show is maybe 20 minutes (being generous) and then walking another 15. We stayed in the main room watching the show and taking pics for a while. Well worth the cost. I posted some video and pics but not everything, don't wanna ruin the experience. DISCLAIMER: The images/video contain flashes of light and moving objects

I’ve enjoyed all three of my visits. I expected my family to be bored but they all (M51, M19, F15) enjoyed Beyond the Light quite a bit! This was the first time anyone explained how things worked in the side rooms. That was very helpful.Everyone is very friendly and the graphics are cool!

Our daughter gifted us with tickets. I wasn’t sure what to expect. After waiting for our allotted time and walking 2 floors into a basement, we were introduced to the exhibit by a worker. As I walked through the doors, the overloud sound instantly overwhelmed me, and I saw a bar hawking futuristic drinks. While initially awed by the colors in the space, the visual stimuli left me feeling dizzy. Also, the idea of sitting on the floor was not appealing. In other installations I’ve visited, there were seating options for those not able to get to the floor. Moving on from the main room, I was underwhelmed. The space was tight and staff stood by playing on their phones while visitors were clearly confused as to how the displays work. I really wanted to like it, but it didn’t live up to the price of the tickets.

Much smaller than I had anticipated. There is only really just that One Room that's wow and cool and really nothing else. So you are really paying like entrance fee per person for a photo opportunity! All the other exhibits are cool to see but probably not going to be more than 15 mins of your time. I would say if you're not going to sit there in the main room... 30 mins max would be all you need. I can see how it can be a good venue rental space for company event. It would be very artistic and people can chat in the large room with the lights running. Overall pretty disappointing... bc I was really expecting a lot more to see and explorer.

Enjoyed it as an artistic experience using images from nasa telescopes, but didn't gain much insight about the cosmos as I hoped. But it was a groovy fun time worth the price of admission, if only for one time. We skipped the drinks. We sat on the floor for about 20 minutes through a full cycle of the big projection and spent another 20 minutes on the other content. Kids see saw there were having a great time. We are 60 and the only old folk there, but it is fun for all ages. I would say anyone with balance issues should find a different activity. The projection includes the floor which is fun. The floor is lava.

Beyond the Light is the next mind-expanding immersive experience by Artechouse that incorporates data from NASA, an original soundtrack from galactic data, images from the James Webb Space Telescope, AI aided technology and other technologies for an amazing journey from stardust to the boundaries of imagination. This experience is for everyone. Young children, teens, adults were all enjoying Beyond the Light. Reading about this experience beforehand may enrich your understanding and deepen your knowledge of the complexities in mounting this exhibition but it is not necessary. Find a comfortable spot, relax and let yourself drift through this fantastical journey. This is the most incredible of all of the Artechouse experiences I have seen. Images from the Hubble telescope -- Pillars of Creation, Orion Nebula -- and enhanced by the soundtrack with data from the periodic table -- is stirring in a way that I can't explain -- something primeval -- something at the atomic level -- that we can all understand intuitively. If you get a chance to see Beyond the Light, go!

Really cool idea for a venue. It's a little confusing to navigate and understand what's interactive and how things are interactive.Very educational. Service was good here at the front desk and one drink at the bar. I think for what you do inside it should be a bit cheaper so I wouldn't say the value is there.Overall i do recommend checking it out as it's something different.
