I was wrongly charged a $450 “cleaning fee” after renting from the Blair Rd Budget location, even though the car was already dirty when I picked it up. The first vehicle I was assigned had a filthy interior, so the agent walked me back to choose another, but the next two were also unclean. The agent even admitted they “do the best we can to clean them” and noted the dirty interior. I returned the car in the same condition, yet still received the charge.
Only after I disputed it and provided video proof from pickup did they agree to refund it. While I’m glad they reversed it, no customer should have to fight to remove an unfair charge. I won’t rent from this location again.

I rent from avis to uber.The Avis representative is excellent and efficient; very helpful.

I have been renting a car from this place and driving Uber every day for the past 4 years.the staff provide great service. especially the owner who is a great person and tries his best to help a customers.as far as l can tell . NZ

BE AWARE!! This is the worst place ever. I have been here 2 times, the first time I couldn’t get a car because of my own fault.
Both times wait time was extremely unprofessional. I needed to be out of the place fast and it took approximately 25 min to be seen the first time, the second time I couldn’t even get to the counter. All I could hear was laughs and laughs from the interaction between the customer that was at the counter at the time and the person serving them. They were discussing which salad from Chick fill a was better. I got here at 1:55 pm and needed to be in Baltimore before 3 pm but since discussing that they like to eat was more important I had to pay for a Uber to take me there instead.
I don’t know what it will for corporate or someone to do something about this location. Terrible experience, yeah the people in the counter might be nice and all but if they are not effective or have a timely manner to attend customers because others might be in a rush then maybe you should go somewhere else to work.
I hope to never have to come back here again cause what a tragic place to be at

Car rent for uber I did oil change on my pocket but does not get my money over two week also I will try ask front desk he is not idea when I get my money that is terrible
After this review I give all documents and phone number still no body contact me about to solve a problem
I think this company is not ready to improve customer service

Just picked up a Chevy Malibu and it is FILTHY! The outside is dirty the inside, floor, doors, dashboard., its all dirty. The arm rest is STICKY! YUCK! I feel like I need to shower after driving it. Seems like someone ate some fast food in it and didn't clean it at all. Will not be coming back here!

As an Uber rental driver, this location cut off the Uber rental on the day payment was due, and within the three days grace period that Uber policy states. The Avis man is very unprofessional, taking bribery money from family to do so. After payments are made, he states they aren't made.Now they are charging $1,727.17?!

This is the 2nd time I booked a car with this location. The staff are very friendly and super efficient. I was out the door and with a better car than I booked in 3 minutes. Next time I come to DC I will rent from this location again.

Response: No thanks. Already called support. I'll stick with Uhaul and Hertz like I'm used to.
