I was at the store today 1-26-24.I bought stuff for my daughter's hair.I took it up to pay for it got my receipts.And was going out the door and the alarm went off.And a sp came to the door and said come back in the store so I did .I gave him my bag and I told him I want a Apology and he didn't have to decency to say sorry.They put these upc's codes. And after they ring the stuff up they don't take it off . So when you go out the door even though it was paid for alarm go's off.It is so embarrassing and humiliating.I will never shop there again and I don't advise anyone to shop there.

The employees are very rude and snapped at me. Then the manager told me to forget about it and that he wouldn’t talk to his employee about it. They are overpriced and definitely not worth the disrespectful service. Please go elsewhere

Do not shop here.Last week, my friend and I had a terrible experience with one of the employees. She was rude, snappy, and outright disrespectful.Today, we returned to inform the manager, and he was dismissive and condescending. He told us to simply "forget" about our negative experience, saying that the "past is in the past." We promptly returned our merchandise and left the store, and we will never return.Don't shop where you're not wanted.

In order for me to write a review I had to give them a star when I think they deserve nothing. We bought 3 hair and scalp moisturizer (brand we use all the time) because we go through them fast and don't have the time to keep going backs to Beauty Island. However, the ones we got was a bad batch. Tried to return and they gave us run around by saying they could not give us refund without the Owner. BS. No refunds or replacement. Yes we can alway go to manufacturer but why when the store sold it us. Beware ALL sales are final! And store staff DISHONEST!

The managers and store works are evil and mean. I bought nails from here and all of the nails were not in the pack. It was supposed to come with 28 nails and I only received 12 nails. The worker made me pay to buy another pack of nails and argued me down in front of everyone. He is rude and has a nasty attitude. I could’ve received a free new pack or atleast store credit. I will no longer shop here and I advise y’all not to either.

Update: I was instructed by staff to purchase more items because my total was under $5. This is because I chose to use a credit card. Based on my research, I learned that some merchants cannot require a minimum. I then left the items behind because they truly wanted cash. This is predatory in nature due to the proximity to Howard University. Based on my analysis, so many college students are "strapped for cash". A beauty supply store should not be predatory in nature. This is why I chose not to purchase anything from this store and I will never return. Often as a reviewer, one will have to allow the company and the representatives of the company to try again. But after being, what I feel, "in my opinion" as scammed with predatory practices, I will absolutely never return.

Marco and the owner are very patient and knowledgeable about the products . I'm a regular and they always take the time to make sure I get exactly what I need.
